Don't worry, the energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation that the moon reflects from the sun is waaay to weak to do anything to our electronics. And the magnetic field of earth also protects us even against high energetic radiation.

I enjoyed your vlog. I think it’s cool that you got a tarot deck for Christmas. Do you know if there’s a company out there somewhere that makes braille tarot cards? I’ve been on the hunt for some but I haven’t been able to find them. In the meantime, I found an accessible tarot app. But I thought it would be cool to have some actual tarot cards that were accessible.
@ChelbyFarley6 ай бұрын
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was very excited to get the tarot deck. I'm not aware of anywhere to get a Braille deck unfortunately. My friends that got me the deck even said they tried to find a Braille set but couldn't find any. Otherwise they would've gotten me a Braille deck. I wish there was one out there though. If I ever find one I'll definitely show it in a future video.

The dishwasher looks like it has a bad seal. Good you caught it or it could have caused water damage to the unit below. Keep catching the water with towels. Don't worry. You caught it early. Relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
@ChelbyFarley Жыл бұрын
They said the issue is that the drain pump stopped working, so it wasn't draining properly. I thought it could've been the seal too, but it turns out it was the pump. My unit is on the first floor, so there's no one below me, but yes, there could've definitely been water damage if I hadn't caught it quickly. It would've been much worse if I had walked away immediately like I normally do.

Congratulations on your Duolingo streak. I’ve been using it in a few other things to learn German. But I haven’t been as consistent with it as I probably should be.
@ChelbyFarley Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I've used it several times over the years, but I don't think I've ever been this consistent. Usually I'll do a day or 2 and then stop for months at a time. I need to be a lot more consistent with it though.

My wife's skin can't tolerate deodorants. What works for her, and that's what I also do, is use alcohol hand sanitizer. Bad smell is caused by bacteria so the hand sanitizer kills them and without bacteria there's no BO.
@ChelbyFarley Жыл бұрын
I don't notice any negative effects from deodorant on my skin or anything, but I still am switching to something less toxic. That's an interesting idea. I would've thought that would be very harsh on the skin. But I'm glad it works for y'all. I've heard that bacteria causes BO, so I can see why the hand sanitizer would be good for dealing with that. I'll consider investing in nontoxic hand sanitizer in the future. Thanks for the tip.

As you already know it should be set to heat if you want heat and cool if you want it to cool. Keep the fan on auto so you get air moving only when the cool or heat turn on. Otherwise, you will lower the life of the fan if it's constantly running. Good luck. If you are wondering why an old guy is following your channel is because I'm interested in creating a game for the visually impaired and found you from your game videos as I was doing research.
@ChelbyFarley Жыл бұрын
Yes, of course, but I can usually leave it on cool and set to 70 degrees just fine, but since it was too cold outside and couldn't keep up that's why I turned the heat on, to warm it up to my usual temperature.

Congratulations on the new apartment. I remember when I moved into mine in October 2019. It’s awesome to have your own place. It’s nice to know as a blind person that if I put something where it belongs, it’ll be there later without somebody moving it. Unless of course I forgot to put it back where it belongs.
@ChelbyFarley3 жыл бұрын
It definitely has its perks. That is a big one for sure. Less tripping over things that people leave lying around, or having to search high and low for something that isn't where I left it. However having my own place is very lonely which is really hard for me.
@tiffanimilburn88853 жыл бұрын
I can see how that would happen. I’ve always been introverted and loved having the house to myself whenever I could, so for me this is perfect. Just me and my cat Rachel.
