Hello, I'm about to build something similar in my shop. A mezzanine that will hang off the back wall with a glulam on the front. Will you show me how you anchored your sill plates vertically on the wall?

@@ManBeers The ban board is anchored to the concrete with J bolts. The bolts were installed before concrete was poured. You can use a different type of anchor to do the same thing.

aren't those just rollers? how would rollers have enough power to push a beam out and move it so fast it can knock over a pile of metal? looks like the whole beam was being pushed faster than it should ever be pushed. If its just rollers, this would be impossible.

i used to work for a car engine parts manufacturer called Federal Mogul, and they had these huge crucibles that filled with molten metal and would feed a molder on an assembly line, short story a guy working special equipment maintenance forgot to secure one of the crucibles and it fell on the line and destroyed everything. Computers, the cooling oven, the assembly line, and a bunch of strong steel chain. no one got hurt it just got super hot really quick
