I hear they r decreasing in numbers because they do not marry outside community we appriciate the great Parsi community for their contribution to India their adopted country pl intermarriage should b allowed for increase in the Parsi population as Indians too hold fire as sacred Arya Samaritan community worship ,we call it havan nholdit as sacred too.

Roxanne, am an un-offficial Parsee ( technically am a Bengali but brought up in a Parsi colony, studied in a Parsee school, had Parsee friends in the colony and college, worked in a Parsi company....in short, at home with Parsis .. anywhere...my friends tell me that I am more Parsee than Bengali..I can only smile..If you ever want to meet a Bengal meets Persia person, then I am perhaps the best example..) Ok, that was the rather long introduction... but what I really wanted to ask you was about Parsee vegetarian recipes... obviously, I grew up on Parsee non - vegetarian food...😊

Why equate it with some shaak shuka stuff? Just acknowledge the Parsi cuisine that it is and please take pride in your own culture !!
