All sounds came from the Mininova, except the drums. No external fx, no eq. Ultranova sounds the same

Get both! :) Jokes aside, it depends on purpose. AN1x is a super trancy synth, still capable for some up-to date sounds. JayB made a pretty good soundset for it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2WaiH-reMmIiZY

@@rcs2003 An1x is an underrated synth no doubt...and very much capable of modern uplifting trance... Help me out making a choice... I have a An1x, Waldorf blofeld, Ultra or mini nova and jp 8000 on my mind on the cheaper side... And A brand new nord lead A1 against a the virus ti or ti2 anything I can get(used)...? If you were to choose one on the cheaper and one the high end side what hardware synth would you choose... C'MON YOU CAN ANSWER THIS AS YOUR A TRANCE ENTHUSIAST....?

Is ultranova actually good in terms of trance music production? I mean how good it is whilst Makin trance sounds from scratch... Is it multi timbral...? I don't see a adsr amp Envelope or filter envelope on this one..

@@cnovasalmanhussain751 -I made all of these sounds from scratch, if you listen this demo then you can decide how much capable for trance genre. Download and read the manual if the ultranova/mininova, I did it before bought the Mininova. It has a pretty deep sound engine with superb modulation possibilities. -No, these are no multitimbral. One tone, one midi channel.

@@rcs2003 I asked you coz you created some marvelous sounds... I get recommendations every now and then for a ultranova... It looks simplistic upfront but then I come across some vids just like this one which are just mind blowing... Tell me is ultranova and mininova basically same... And if I were to get one, which one would you reccomend?

@@cnovasalmanhussain751 I dont know, it depends on your taste. Mininova has vocaltune, Ultranova doesnt have. Ultranova has big keys with aftertouch, SPDIF audio out, usb audio interface, the Mininova doesnt have these. Mininova is more compact and lightweight. Ultranova is not in production anymore, but you can still buy a new Mininova.

Somebody wrote earlier (but his comment is disappeared since) about making music with free plugins when the daw is about 400 EUR is not really free. Dear friend. You can download FL for free and try it. The cheapest version of FL is 99 EUR. I didnt said that I only using free plugins btw. The other thing was he said "why dont you choose reaper, its free blablabla" ... oh man. I never used Reaper, okay? I cant do anything with Reaper. I use FL since about 18 years now. :)

Dont have experience with most of these hardware but I would choose Virus Ti or Ti2. Nowadays vsts are better than any VA synth btw

Hardware synths like Yamaha an1x, jp 8000 and the sh 201 have stood the test of time they sound amazing upto this day... That supersaw is better than all the vsts produced over the decade...

Cannot agree, there are great supersaw emulations like the DIva, JP6K... the big secret is the chorus on the JP-8000. The dry supersaw doesnt sound pleasing without effects

The fader sends MIDI CC, everything else depends on your daw.. There is no scene change in this video, just two patterns repeating.

It goes 0:19 D# (8 beats) A# (4 beats) B (4) Maybe try add in D# (8 beats) A# (4 beats) B (2 beats instead of 4) C# (2 beats) That c# will give some energy before the melody starts over again

Hello sir I'm about to buy this synthe because of you channel, but i have a couple questions Can this synthe transfer audio via USB and a vst with no delay in sound? I mean like the virus ti? And how you deal with the aliasing? Thanks in advance

Hi! -Yes it has a bulit in usb audio interface. But be careful, you cant install the drivers on newer MacOS systems. It works under Windows 10 and 11 works with some tweaking, you find video about that, just search for it. Roland abandoned the software support around ~2010... -There is always delay in the sound since its basically digital streaming, the latency depends on your audio settings. -You cannot do anything with the aliasing
