There are at least three occasions where Jane is watching this same clip, of the leopard hunting down its prey. It's the same one each time. I wonder what it signifies, unless it's Jane reminding himself, the leopard never gives up, no matter how hard it's prey runs.

Good drama, but bad tactics. If you're able to "see right through" people, the last thing you should do is tell them so. Telling them so only serves to give them warning You're in a much better position if the other person(s) falsely believe they are safe.

Volker thought he could strut around, gloat, belittle and intimidate Lisbon with impunity, he was wrong. Jane showed not just his support but utter devotion to Lisbon by tearing through Volker's fake bravado and letting him know THEY were coming for him , not just yet but very soon.
