Hi, where did you buy your minc? I bought mine in Ebay and they sent me US to europe cord I plugged them in and start smoking and the electric connection was down. Does your produced smoke too? It look like you have UK cord.

I holidayed on Hayling Island every year as a child, both my grandparents had caravans there and it where my parents met - I guess it's changed a lot since then though (it's been many many years 😊). Thank you for bringing back lots of good memories with your lovely layout x

I love your use of the foils on this layout. I was watching another video where the found the foil coming off after awhile. Are your foiled pieces still in tact?

Use the materials the pro's use! #60 Glatfelter for the first three ply's, then a ply of Dunn dry wax paper (plain or printed). Make sure to put a light coating of parifin wax on the inside layer as well as the outside layer. We use Colorcon Non-tox inks when we print the outside layer, it is FDA approved.

lilsis I recently got the toner pen and reactive paint, the paint is awesome but don't bother with the pen! I don't use the machine as much as I thought I would but I think my laser printer doesn't kick out enough ink. I wanted it to use with my own designs and they often come out patchy. I'm keeping the machine though as I hope to try it with a better printer one day and it works great with the Heidi swapp minc items and the reactive paint. I hope that helps!

you are lucky, I am a member of the CC club too, my machine arrived minus carrier sheet and other things. I have had it for 2 weeks and can't use it, two phone calls later I am keeping my fingers crossed!! :(

Beautiful layout, and I love listening to your voice, very calming and relaxing...thank you for sharing your talent and your use of your new Minc machine...I've been looking at it, and have tried some of the embellishments with my laminator...they haven't come out perfect, they were left with very few black dots. I'm waiting to see if I can get a better price for the machine. I just can't warrant the price yet for an overpriced laminator...

This is really lovely. I don't have a cricut machine so would use good old scissors. I can see how this could be adapted for use with other shapes too. Snowmen would be great for Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration. x

Perhaps tracing the eggs lightly with a pale watercolour pencil would be better? Then the line would dissolve when you painted it. I love the outcome of the watercolouring and glitter.
