Yes, it’s still for sale. We’ve always been open to any offers whether in cash USD or BTC. Once the hotel finish their project in front of us, this house will definitely be a sanctuary from the hustle of the world yet right in the heart of Gen Luna :)

Who knows what they might do? Certainly the local government unit aren’t particularly proactive ensuring environmental are properly policed etc. Siargao might one day become a full-on cesspit. Such a shame! It used to be paradise.

Our foreman’s name is Ramil. He’s quite famous on Siargao. We paid a contract price for everything and we came in just below budget at the end. A few weeks later, Super Typhoon Rai destroyed a lot of the roof and windows and we had to start again kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWfWnIGjh9uMbbM 2021 was a devastating year for us.

Hope the price of our land increases. Yes, development does have its positive sides, but it’s not all positive and often leads to local people being edged out and prices rising making it unaffordable for the locals. Personally, I believe horror show hotels like this one should remain in Manila or Boracay and not ruin an island I love, but I don’t have any control over what’s happening on Siargao Island. So let them wreck it.
