In today's world, with so many digital units, you can equalize the guitars in such a way that they sound similar. So in the end it's more a question of playability and feeling in your hands. The sound can be adjusted without any problem. But they both sound great.
@EricBourassa22 күн бұрын
@@SkankVideosTv yes I agree to a point. The Strat is a fatter, beefier sound with more sustain. So it will naturally do that better. Can you fatten up the starcaster and give it more beef? Sure. But I’ve experimented with different amp and guitar combos (digitally and analog), and the natural sound of a guitar is hard to change drastically. So if you gotta pick one, go with the one you most like the sound of plugged into an amp with flat EQ. Then tweak from there
@SkankVideosTv22 күн бұрын
@EricBourassa Of course that you cannot change the caracter of the guitar, but with some EQ you can make it fit into a mix pretty well so that the differences between guitars are not noticeable anymore. I can't hardly wait for my starcaster to arrive. Hopefully I won't be disappointed, haha.

I hate to say it but that guitar was literal garbage. A gloss neck that is profiled like a tree trunk…. That isn’t even close to being like the actual model that Tom plays. And that black hardware on the white and pink models totally ruined the vibe of them. And then it plays like crap on top of it? And then priced out the wazoo? Nah, I’m good. Miss me with that. I’m a Tom fan boy but I’m also not a dummy.

@ oh yeah, I’m generally not as into slower tunes but Love Thing might be Satch’s best ballad. And just one of his best songs period. Raspberry Delta is the song that got me obsessed with the whammy pedal. And House Full of Bullets- took me a long time to realize it’s just a blues song, but it’s so unique and inventive that it didn’t even really feel like the blues… it’s like he brought the blues into the next century and rescued it from the bland obscurity it was stuck in
