You obviously have energy, drive, and ambition. I wish you lots of success. My fear is the music industry has changed to a point where it’s even harder to be successful and earn a living. Artists with somewhat popular streams are getting like .005 cents per download or something. Completely untalented people are flooding the channels with digital crap they made on laptops. It’s really watered down the quality of music in general. But you know all this and it doesn’t mean don’t try anyway. Art is the highest form of hope.

@@Sep45 there is definitely more access for anyone who wants to make music today, but there are still tons of artists making music at the highest level. And while streaming has changed how artists make money, there is still a very healthy market for live performance and merch. What’s actually better today is more independent artists are able to keep the bulk of their own profits instead of being controlled by a record company. Even 50 years ago, only the top bands were really making money through the record deal. Most artists were going into debt and losing money. So today there is more opportunity than ever for an independent artist to make a good living.
