My game runs smooth, open in wide screen but crashes after a race or two...can you direct me a patch or two? Thing is i have shi+ windows...windows 10... By the what mode is this, in which you can cruise freely??

@ckryses3962 Hey there 👋 Do you already run a patched version of the game? The best patch that I think is available for this game is Verok's (community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2708-veroks-verokster-need-for-speed-v-porsche-unleashed-patch-v106/). I personally do not use any patch. If you're able to run the game, but it crashes after a while, then it may be an issue with the GPU. Try changing the GPU settings for the game's executable (from Nvidia to Intel, for example, as applicable for your machine). That should help. Also, this is the quick race mode, with no opponents and traffic turned on. Hope that helps! 🙂

4:3 stretched to 16:9 though. Use Vek's Modern Patch and run it in OpenGL mode for proper widescreen.

Looks like you were able to extract all the music from the Windows XP Tour software by using exe2swf and SWFRIP. Excellent music; it brings back wonderful childhood memories!

Hey there! I don't think there is a way to change the size of the HUD elements. This is how it appears on my display. I'm not sure changing the screen resolution will impact the HUD in any way.

@revvind. I tried to play with the resolution, and surprisingly, even on lower ones, tge HUD elements stayed tiny just lower res... I'm gonna keep digging and playing as is. Thabks for the reply.

You are playing at low specs? The dashboard textures are in low quality compared to anothers gameplays.

Not really. This is a 25 year old game, and this is exactly what it looks like on modern hardware. Other gamers probably use upscaling softwares to enhance their videos; I do not.

@revvind. I noticed only the 356 models have low dashboard textures quality compared to the others models on the game. I watched for long time Porsche Unleashed videos and i trought the textures had better resolution. I don't think exist textures upscaling mods for Porsche Unleashed.

The jagged lines you see were Blended together into a 4K appearance using the original monitor which had Crystal pixels a lot of people are commenting that the game is outdated and the graphics are also updated that is not true it's actually our phones with the smaller pixels that are too outdated for this game to blend to give it 4K appearance

They used to put so much detail into these race tracks. That map always reminded me of the industrial zone in Ostrava, the city in Czech Republic.

You need analog throttle and brakes to appreciate this game properly imo, otherwise you would either oversteer and spin out when braking into a turn or understeer into a wall.

Game is and still will be a ""old is gold"", people overdo things with their remastered thing, excessive graphics and sorts...a handling mod could make this game IMMORTAL... Dont touch graphics or anything just handling...

NFS 6 was my last NFS. NFS 5 I played most. I just tried a new one, Heat probably or Rivals. 30 FPS cap on PC. That's a bad joke. Uninstall.

I did the most work in the game, I finished it with a car of each model and prepared to the maximum, all the cars...ALL in the personal garage and 20 million in account... the SaveData would be quoted 🤣, it still works. I love the 964 3.6 and the 944 Turbo in injection cut-off and how it destabilizes
