I liked it a lot but also loved NFS Underground 2, after more modern ones the gameplay got crazy bad, unresponsive lagged as hell, don't like NFS for so many years but totally miss the good old ones.

Awesome, this was my favourite track as a kid. The visuals are dated now of course, but I think the art direction still holds up and it's very atmospheric.

You right graphics are dated but thanks to a thoughtful art direction it's still aesthetically pleasing. It's all about little details around the tracks that making it visually satisfying. And of course sound design which adds a lot to the atmosphere. Same goes to other older NFS games: High Stakes and Hot Pursuit.

The graphics aren't dated it's your telephone is actually outdated if this was on an original monitor that goes with the game with Crystal pixels the pixel lines would all blend together and it would look 4K. Sadly these heavy monitors and machines are too expensive to make now so we have to use these funds with the tinier pixel phones which is actually an outdated device for these graphics

This game is the reason why Porsche gave its license exclusive to EA for 15 years if I remember correctly. Need for Speed was the most popular racing game brand at the time. Hot Pursuit 2 was a big hit. And Porsche was very cautious about video games. They didnt want a game with their cars in it that could loose to other car brands. So EA basically tailored this game around Porsches demands in favour to the rights of the brand for the next 15 years. Porsche didnt give permission for the "Underground"-series as they didnt want their cars to be modified and associated with underground street racing. But Porsche was fine with the more track focused Need for Speed "Shift".

The reason that Porsche are not present on Underground its about the tuning thematic, nobody on the early 2000s used to tune Porsche vehicles, that is why both Underground 1-2 have sleepers and import tuner cars.

Your argument is completely meaningless because Porsche licensed its vehicles to Most Wanted and do you know which element it reuses from Underground? EXACTLY THE CUSTOMIZATION OF CAR PARTS. The total absence of the Porsche brand in Underground 1 and 2 is entirely due to the developers' artistic choice in the game's theme, not to Porsche's supposed protectionism regarding customization. The 2 games were heavily inspired by Fast and Furious 1-2 as well as by the tuning fashion where most of the cars used were import tuners from Honda, Mazda, Nissan and sleepers like Jetta, Focus, Golf, with no presence of cars from the Porsche brand, in fact no hypercar, super car or luxury sedans were present in these 2 games, they only returned in Most Wanted where in addition to Porsche, brands such as Lamborghini, Mercedes, BMW and Aston Martin returned due to the fact that they had a more original artistic and thematic choice was chosen. Ferrari was the brand that was totally against customizing its cars, not Porsche.

I did the most work in the game, I finished it with a car of each model and prepared to the maximum, all the cars...ALL in the personal garage and 20 million in account... the SaveData would be quoted 🤣, it still works. I love the 964 3.6 and the 944 Turbo in injection cut-off and how it destabilizes

NFS Porsche had the best tracks in the series. Yes, yes, openworld is kinda cool too, but it limits what you can put in there. 2010 Hot Pursuit managed to get close to the atmosphere of the old NFS games, and The Run had some very memorable sections. But none can come even close to this.

The jagged lines you see were Blended together into a 4K appearance using the original monitor which had Crystal pixels a lot of people are commenting that the game is outdated and the graphics are also updated that is not true it's actually our phones with the smaller pixels that are too outdated for this game to blend to give it 4K appearance

4:3 stretched to 16:9 though. Use Vek's Modern Patch and run it in OpenGL mode for proper widescreen.

You need analog throttle and brakes to appreciate this game properly imo, otherwise you would either oversteer and spin out when braking into a turn or understeer into a wall.

NFS 6 was my last NFS. NFS 5 I played most. I just tried a new one, Heat probably or Rivals. 30 FPS cap on PC. That's a bad joke. Uninstall.
