We had a window put in ensuite when having van built. Had the shelf removed at build. You can get aftermarket windows put in ensuite

Re telephones- in the late 1970’s I lived in the tiny town of Homestead near Charters Towers. The phone had no dial but had a winder that rang in the nearby post office where the operator would answer and ask what number you wanted to call. Our phone number was 7. That’s it, just 7.

I was born in Kalgoorlie we actually lived in Norseman, parents sold up and moved to S.A. in 1960. Hubby & I want to do a trip to W.A. he has never been there and I would like to revisit a few places, thanks for the great video thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thanks so much. We were there in January/February. The weather was hot in the day but cooled down a bit at night. I think it would be nicer around April. Get that van hitched and away you go

Great to see you enjoying the local region. Be sure to visit Kapunda, just 15 mins from Greenock. The main street is full of beautiful old architecture. Visit the old copper mine, MAP the (big) miner, visit Litl Mo's Bakery and immerse yourself in the history of Sir Sidney Kidman and his historic home - now high school which is being rebuilt after fire destroyed it a few years ago. Kapunda is said to be the most haunted town in Australia! Learn more about that at The North Kapunda Hotel.

There are also small block houses on the old Pt Pirie to Pt Broughton road that were for Air to ground gunnery practice for the Fairy Battlers that were stationed in Port Pirie.

That’s on my bucket list, playing with the Meerkats. I’ve seen a rocket launch at NASA but Meerkats are just so special. Loved the video. I bet they have microphones in the wall behind the painted area.

Thank you for dragging doubting Freddy to show us the tree. It was very interesting. People in those days had to pose for photos given the type of camera used. It is a shame Australian churches are locked. It would be lovely to see inside and for those inclined a little prayer.

Fantastic video. I just loved it. The Barossa is one of my favorite places in SA. We live just south of Adelaide and it's our go to place if we just want to get away for 2 or 3 days. Just hitch up the van and 2 hours later, I'm relaxing on a deck chair watching the world go by. Oh, and yes Tracie. Thoroughly enjoyed the old tree house.

We are coming to visit from the UK to see family in Perth and Geraldton and we are making a special 5 day stay in Monkey Mia resort part of our holiday (in the hope if seeing the dolphins!).
