Something like this and high temperature superconductors could go a long way to solving many of our energy problems for portable or remote items (watches, laptops, traffic lights etc). Even if that tech couldn't power a car, home, or factory, if it could handle a lot of the small stuff, it would help a lot!

Awesome! I live on the Canadian prairies and 99.9% of landowners here want to drain EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF WET OFF THEIR LAND. It’s frustration to no end. I have friends who maintain the wetlands on their farm - the wildlife is AMAZING!! Their neighbours are constantly tying to SUE them because they won’t allow them to drain water through their land. Few understand just how important wetlands are to the prairie ecosystem.

Thanks! We need some brave compassionate and stern social workers out in the usa. And know that social workers dont recognize angels. Evidence is cocoon, tadpole, oxygen..... Its hard on patients because of strangers. Ex drug addicted, bullies.... Recent problems with high $ rent and vehicles causing psychotic problems. And hate groups comfort. Youth and everyone need to recognize to snap out mental issues or euphoria; music and emotions. When its needed. Music and thinking can heal. But a rude nurse or social worker hurts. Talking can give someone more information. Thanks. USA!USA! Pray outside!! Col 3:11.

Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 2021-145502 (i.e., JP2021145502A) discloses a Method for applying a constant voltage to a Graphene of a Power generation device being studied by Professor Paul Thibado of the University of Arkansas. By using an Electret, the constant voltage can be continuously applied to the graphene without consuming electrical energy. 😊

The oscillating membrane would be cooling down in the process (but probably continuosly warmed back up by ambient temperature), are we transforming ambient heat into electricity? Something seems a bit off.

I think this is fascinating and I want to do a presentation on this, but i don't understand how the graphene is making energy? I know the concept is that heat is moving the graphene but is that also creating a charge?
@kidddogbites Жыл бұрын
So think of graphene in this case sorta like a piezoelectric but a very sensitive one. Its thin enough that just thermal noise can shake the graphene, causing it to create a charge
