I would say the Adamancipator replay shows it best in this video, although it’s a bit different because I’m going second. Typically if you’re going first and doing full combo, there would be no need to make Ascalon, for example

I've never played Dragon Link, but some argue you can think of Dragunity as Dragon Synchro. Also from what I've seen, I think Dragunity has a higher power ceiling, but again I'm not 100% certain because I've never played DLink. Hope that helps

Hi, hope you're okay with me giving my thoughts! They have somewhat the same power ceiling depending on tech choices. A strong dragon link end board will be something like: Borrelend (monster-negate + resummon), Hot red (Card-on-field-negate), Borreload (omni-negate) and then either IP, seals or a rank 8 xyz depending on tech choices. And chance of having fairy tail snow in grave (if you have borrelend, you can resummon tracer and pop snow after using it, to use it a second time in the same turn). Reaching max power ceiling in dragon link requires a bit of luck though, as you're usually stuck on 1 negate (on board) if your dragon ruler misses (however you don't have to discard hand traps as often as dragunity). On the other hand it's a lot harder to stop the dragon link combo than the dragunity combo. They have about equal recursion, dragon link has access to more tech choices though (like dragunity mostly just has arma gram, while dragon link has arma gram, spiral dragon, seyfert+levianeer, destrudo). Obviously you wouldn't run all of them though.

@@ciccio3344 It is an extremely powerful card, but it has the serious drawback that it is a trap card, which means it is pretty much only useful if you're going first. And even then you will only be able to activate it from turn 2, after being set. So I would say it's high risk, high reward.

Actually, it goes a bit more like this: Opponent sets Fallen of Albaz. I activate Hieratic Seals of the Heavenly Spheres, tribute itself to return Dragon Ravine to the hand. Trigger effect of Seals activates: when tributed, summon Koa’ki Meiru Drago from the deck. Neither player can special summon light or dark monsters. Opponent surrenders!
