Great video btw! Really love seeing Dragunity getting some representation since they’re one of my childhood nostalgia decks. Would you mind explaining how the pendulum and chaos package works in this deck? I’ve only played with the pure Dragunity with the samsara, zephyros, baby Roc, etc. If you could explain how the pendulum and chaos package works I could understand why it would function better than just running more copies of your best Dragunity main deck cards 😊👍

Thank you very much! It's the same for me with the nostalgia! How the pendulum package works is actually quite straightforward. You have Darkwurm, which you can add to your hand with Revolution Dragon's discard effect. Darkwurm serves as an extender, often either as a link material for Romulus (the other being Gae Dearg), or as a synchro material for Luin, which enables alternative Atum plays instead of using Dragunity Glow. It also adds Gate Zero to your hand when summoned, giving you another card to discard with Ravine. Revolution dragon can add Darkwurm, or revive a synchro from your grave (e.g. a fourth Gae Dearg summon). The Chaos Space package is meant to improve a couple of things in the deck. First, it has a draw 1 effect if you have a banished monster that can't be normal summoned (think of any extra deck monster, particularly Seals, since you use that as a combo piece and can banish it with Chaos Ruler, but also main deck monsters like Revolution Dragon, providing synergy with the pendulum package). In general, the more cards you can add to your hand the better, but especially so with this deck, since you discard a lot with it. The other thing the Chaos package helps with is by using the dragons as link material for Romulus, so you can hold off on adding and discarding Baby Roc with Gae Dearg until later in the combo (an example of this happens in the Machina duel in this video). Very impressive deck tbh, would you recommend this Chaos version over the one you used in your previous video?

Thank you! I definitely would; in that version I used Trishula the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment to look in the opponent’s extra deck and banish anything that would be extremely bad for me to deal with (e.g. Alba-Lenatus). This version achieves the same thing by instead adding Koa’ki Meiru Drago to the main deck, along with serving as a strong floodgate against many decks. The chaos package gives some draw power to the deck that’s very nice because you discard a lot, and it has pretty good synergy with the pendulum package.

6:41, how was Ash Blossom negated? The log doesnt show any effect being applies or Crystal Wing activating.

It was negated on the previous turn with Called by the Grave

Hi, im learning the deck and one question I have is why is barrone not used in dragunity? It is a good level 10 summon, so does it go against the deck in some way or is it just irrelevant to the deck?

You're right that it's a good level 10 synchro, but many cards in the deck (Remus and Senatus) lock you into dragons from the extra deck for the rest of the turn, and you cannot reliably bring out Baronne before that happens.

Oh my god.. I never thought of using Chaos space in dragunity. I figured it'd be dead way too often since you're running almost all wind. But I just now realized, you can just discard it off ravine and since you go through both red eyes, seals and chaos ruler during your combo you can guarantee a seals banish --> chaos space draw. Bloody brilliant idea mate!
