Jerusalem…. Made to sound outrageously American. Really not nice rendition of what should be such a glorious piece. The organ registration is also appalling… 😬

From a retired English cop, thank you. English heritage is seldom celebrated (even in England, where to do so attracts condemnation for being 'far right', unlike Scotch, Welsh and Irish nationalism). I'd love to see St. George's day parades in New York and across the USA.

When England fought in the Christian crusades the soldiers said they wanted Jerusalem for England the words of this song convey this thats where the st Georges cross flew in Jerusalem what is so sad is what is happening in Jerusalem now,as Jesus himself once said "Oh Jerusalem she so full of mercy"

Beautifully sung, but some of the phrasing wasn't quite right. Watch any video of the Proms where this is sung and you'll know what I mean.

It’s our unofficial national anthem, so guess it would be unusual for non English to sing the hymn.

Thankyou to our American friends, such feelings i have never heard.Just lost for words, thankyou again.
As an Englishman, I've always said this should be our national anthem, but it's not allowed because a certain "chosen" people don't want us to have any attachment to Jerusalem.

If you ever get the chance to attend a choir or choral service in an old European cathedral you must seize the opportunity. The stonemasons built them as towering temples. But they also were built to deliver phenomenal sound. I was working on a tv shoot, and was quietly doing some paperwork whilst filming occurred. The UK military band struck up the piece and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I closed my laptop and really listened to the music. It was captivating. 😊
