I'm hoping that the person that keeps flushing those things is watching you right now. Of course, they keep flushing and you keep working. You should have a contest to see who can guess the right number of wipes in the pile.

you need a big ass funnel and a hand shovel, why didn't you use the access point 4 foot above where you cut the up-pipe?

All these storm water (mainly roof runoff) drain failures that I see from your videos leads me to believe there is a problem with the original installation or lack of building regulations governing their installations. PVC or ABS pipe when properl installed, should not allow incursion of roots or other debris - other than from normal entry points. It looks (from the videos I've seen) like that these drain pipes were either not sturdy enough (maybe schedule 40 or less) for their respective jobs or were not properly glued and sealed when opriginally installed.

wouldn't adding salt regularly kill off any roots?

A few years ago I was helping with a high school play and we had to teach the girls how to sweep a floor. We were all lost at some point and I think it is not getting any better in this generation. Very few grow up having to do things around the house. Remember Mr. P has had a difficult time finding someone he could train. Patience is a virtue!!!

Instead of digging a trench to let it drain itself he's going to paddle it out. I guess he's going to stay there for the rest of his life and paddle it out every time it rains LOL

You have to remember kids are idiots. Telling them how to do something doesn't do any good, you have to show them how to do the job.
