I don’t do any other dairy than yours. Mostly your kifer and yogurt. Not sure, but the whey that’s collected after making the ricotta can be used for making other things like sauerkraut?

I stopped drinking milk because of the caseine 1 that is very inflamatory and because I'm intolerant. Is it safe to start to drink milk A2?

Leigh-Anne, GREAT job on speaking fluently and being well versed on this subject. Yes, you are a MS, RD but it takes special skills to speak on camera (in one take) and without a prompter (didn't see your eyes moving like a prompter read.) Fantastic job on explaining the A1 and A2 differences. We big fans of Alexandre Family Farm dairy with their transparency in farming, humane treatment of their cows and producing exceedingly great quality products, made with love! And speaking of love, we're especially loving the whole fat Regenerative Organic Probiotic Kefir. Just bought six at market!

Your Lego example comparing Milk proteins, is exactly what I am looking for concerning baking proteins. Can you do this identical format presentation comparing Red Durham (white flour), Einkorn, and Rye? Also, for the nutritional science of it, do a presentation about grains that are truly organic compared to anything but organic and how that affects the human quality of life. I could see your channel growing with no nonsense food chemistry subjects illustrating the mixing (i.e. basic bread recipes) of these quality products verses the less than good quality additives. The eating public needs this info to be available from one respectable source. Are you that one?

We go to our local farmers market every Sunday and buy the chocolate milk that you guys have. Its the best chocolate milk I have ever tasted. And just yesterday Sunday we bought the eggnogg. I don't know if I spelled eggnogg correctly but that was the best one I have ever had. Besides the one we have made at home.

Why don't you make a video explaining what What 4% 2% mean in your milks And what other kind of milk you sell And what's the difference And show us your eggs Break one open compared to a regular egg from the store To show what's the difference🤔
@kataishungry
@kataishungry 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm not affiliated with them in any way - just picked up their yogurt from Sprouts and it's the 4% whole milk one and it's really good. I haven't tried their eggs yet as they don't sell them near me. Pasture raised animals that are 100% grassfed like these Alexandre Farm cows are generally significantly healthier and produce healthier milk (for the cow, her babies, and us consumers) -- meaning it's higher in vitamins and minerals that were once found in milk centuries ago. However, factory farming basically eliminated all those things and USDA started requiring all milks in the US to be fortified with calcium and vitamin D (among others). Moreover, factory farming comes with so many horrible side effects -- especially for the cows (and obvious inhumane treatment). The cows get more infections (pus from infections is allowed in milk in the US by the way, USDA allows it), they get artificial hormone injections to produce more and more milk even as their bodies deteriorate, they get extremely stressed out in unnatural environments where they basically never see sunlight and that cortisol gets dumped into their milk as well -- just to mention a few. Additionally, factory farmed cows are fed grain-based diets (unnatural diet for cows, cows are supposed to eat various types and species of fresh grass and dried grass). These grain-based diets heavily consist of corn and soy which are not organic -- they're sprayed with pesticides i.e.- glyphosate which has been proven in scientific literature time and time again to not only be toxic to soil microbes (which sequester carbon from the air) and are needed for plant growth, but are extremely toxic to animals and humans. Above all, Alexandre Farms are the first (and only one I know of) regenerative farm for dairy cows and chickens, that means they restore the ecosystem of their pasture through their farming and it make it usable without destroying the environment -- which is what conventional dairy farms do and cause as a result of their existence. A large chunk of the Amazon rainforest is burned and cut down everyday to expand agricultural land SOLELY for growing pesticide-ridden corn, soy and other grains for cows and other animals that aren't even supposed to eat a grain-based diet. If you want to watch a good documentary about soil and regenerative farming, I highly recommend "Kiss The Ground" on Netflix. Some parts of it elaborate on regenerative farming (including how grassfed cows help pastures, although it's not perfect), no-tilling and permaculture. As for eggs -- I doubt the egg you get from pasture-raised chickens will actually look any different to a regular egg (may have a darker color yolk because the chicken laying it is a brown chicken and not a factory farmed broiler white chicken). Egg yolk colors are based on a chicken's diet. The Japanese in factory farms feed their chickens diets rich in marigold flowers and red peppers, so they produce eggs with orange yolks that appeal to customers who order ramen -- this doesn't mean that orange yolks are any healthier. Pasture raised organic eggs tend to be higher in natural omega-3 in the yolk, higher in vitamin A, higher in vitamin E, higher in iron, etc. (as compared to eggs that come from factory farmed chickens)
