I love the lord of d and flute combo, i feel like it makes for the best goat format dragon decks. Not sure how competitively viable it is since that isn't really my main area of interest, but its a very modular deck that easily facilitates swapping out different dragons and themes (for example all light dragons, dark dragons, red-eyes, blue-eyes etc.) I also love how its one of the rare deck types where it actually makes sense to run up to five high level monsters if you so choose, although i usually stick to three or four. Not to mention all the awesome dragon specific support spells and traps give even more options and make it a little bit unpredictable

Id DEFINITELY be running 3x Axe Of Despair, it's very very very helpful if you can equip 1 or 2 onto a monster and then use spell cards like mage power or united to make it a big hitter, but having JUST 1 Axe seems WAYYY too little for a deck that's almost dependent on equip cards like it..

You could definitely justify the inclusion of one searchable (by Flying Kamakiri) copy of Whirlwind Prodigy. Back in 2019 I did not consider this card when making this deck profile.

@TheRetroExpert yeah that might work nicely, I kind of prefer that idea to trying to fit the other dragon monsters in there, would be more fun to stick to the harpy/wind theme as much as possible. @TheRetroExpert cool. I wish I could show you my Chaos Heart Deck but it's just on a DS emulator because I'm not sure how to go about buying the individual cards for my deck.. One of my favorite games of all time is Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2008 (with the cheats enabled).

Under the effects of Skill Drain the Duel Mode Dragon would not be able to be normal summoned without a tribute since thats part of it's effect. In this case the Duel Mode Dragon would require two tributes to be normal summoned since it's a level 7. Tsukiyomi or Book of Moon can reset the Duel Mode Dragon's stats. Simply summon it without a tribute and then find a way to place it face down and then flip it back up. A monster that is flipped down and back up doesn't remeber anything other than how it was summoned either normal or special and so its stats return to base.

Skill Drain only affects cards on the field and not in the players hand. therefore one can summon fusilier dragon without tribute even under skill drain.

I am running a version of this deck with Manticore of darkness and Card of Safe return, but I am wondering if I should swap out that engine for the giant rat one or maybe even a small warrior toolbox with Mystic swordsman Lv2. My biggest competition is a flip control deck! and Tsykumi hurts man!

Only writing this because I still see people asking in various places. To clarify why cards like Axe of Despair are "treated as Archfiend cards", it's because in the OCG their archetype is not called Archfiend, it's called デーモン (Daemon). The cards in question all have that word in their name in the OCG. Gonna share their direct translated names below. Summoned Skull = Daemon’s Summoning Toon Summoned Skull = Toon Daemon Black Skull Dragon = Black Daemon's Dragon Axe of Despair = Daemon's Axe Beast of Talwar = Talwar Daemon Shadow Tamer = Daemon Tamer Lesser Fiend = Lesser Daemon Fiend Skull Dragon = Death Daemon Dragon A Deal with Dark Ruler = A Deal with a Daemon Terrorking Archfiend = Genocide King Daemon Infernalqueen Archfiend = Inferno Queen Daemon So on; so forth.

You think you could make a Metalmorph deck? It focus would be summoning Red eyes and Zoa and equip them with Metalmorph to bring out their metal counterparts, and maybe even add some tech choices like Lighten the Load to return the metals to the deck and even Rare Metalmorph to grant them spell protection It occurred to me to celebrate them getting some good support very recently

Are water ritual monsters compatible with A Legendary Ocean?

sure, you may use them alongside a legendary ocean - like alongside any other field spell I'm aware of in Goat format - even though it won't change the requirement of the cumulated levels of the monsters that have to be tributes for the ritual summon, but to the contrary it will reduce the levels of the monsters that serve as ritual tribute fodder and thus worsen our odds of meeting the requirement for the ritual summon. so I would definitively not recommend the implementation of a legendary ocean in a ritual based water goat deck.

I still don’t understand why you use toon canon soldier I would like you to explain this. The 500LP damage is not sufficient for me. Is there a special combo in terms of last will or something else? Please explain.

Monk Fighter can be accessed via Last Will and Toon Cannon Soldier can trigger Last Will upon its own Self-Destruction. Also Toon Cannon Soldier is searchable via Toon Table of Contents. So to incorporate the Toon engine is to enhance the consistency of this deck's core strategy.

I play a lock down version of this, mars goes under level limit. I increase lp with solemn wishes, dekoichi's and book of moons. It semi-rarely OTK's with Saturn.

With so many recruiters in the deck it would be good to include copies of Exchange, basically a sudo Creature Swap giving your opponent more of your recruiters and potentially taking some very powerful cards from them if played correctly.

You HAVE to play ultimate offering in this. Anytime their board is empty and chick the yellow can deal damage he can bounce himself and you can summon him back in the same battlephase with offering for him to attack again. It's an infinite until the opponent is dead. .....Unless Ultimate Offering was already erratad in goat I am not sure about that.

it is included as an option so you have more options. technically you can include the entire fusion monster line-up in every fusion deck in goat format as there is no limit to it (contrary to the modern standard 15 card limit for the extra deck). I just wanted to point that out as additional input in the description.
