I would like to know why they cut all the trees in the mini-golf course at Beardsley. We now lost our shade trees and makes it almost impossible to play in the heat. The trees really provided the golfers with nice shade. No one I knew had any idea they were being cut down.

Sadly in Sun City West, nothing is for free for the residents. It’s know wonder Sun City West residents come to the Sun Bowl as guests in Sun City.. The same bands that play in Sun City West, play in Sun City’s, Sun Bowl with NO charge.. It all included in the LOW Rec Fees.

When wiil work on the deck for outside pool at Palm Ridge start? Outside Pool has been closed for two week, but nothing done.

Please consider adding multiple cable type weight lifting machines. Much more effective that prescribed motion machines. Additionally the Matrix Elliptical machine is a silent machine with multiple settings.

What a tenacious group of people! I sure can see why there is so much dissension in this community. Living here used to be so harmonious & trouble-free. I give Kasey and President Leary a lot of credit for dealing so kindly with this mess.

I always thought the Boomers appeared to be “entitled” and extremely cliquey. Not friendly to new members when i thought about joining.

While watching this and listening to the story of the cleanliness of The Pool, I feel compelled to please add that although I did not attend this meeting I would like to comment on the fact that my parents have lived here 30 years, I’ve been here for I know when my parents lived here years ago, there was never the litter like you see now throughout Sun City West. I go walking every day and I see lots of small alcohol bottles, beer, cans, all manner of litter and it really makes me sad because we could do better.. how hard is it to pick up after ourselves? Let’s all work together to keep Sun City West clean. 🙌

Here's the problem with people who handle your money. They never ever get enough of it. Raising Rec fees is no special secret to get more and more money for pet projects. Sun City does more with less money than SCW. When they raise Rec fees there is nothing that can be done and they have been raising every year. Why not raise all the outside fees instead? Oh no no no we can't do that. The president has an email but she does not return emails to residents. Because after all she is too busy to speak to one resident. Insulated like all the polititions in America. Remove the guy (Greg Exelby) from the facility? He is part owner. You work for him!!! The board is confused when they see passion. As long as you are stroking the egos of the club and clapping you are Aok. A certain amount of homes will be rentals. It's not your business sir. CC&Rs are there to protect the homeowners. No need for new lawyers and new regulations. Don Schuman the board does not consider your thoughts and they don't care, when they are conducting business with Palm Ridge or any of the Rec centers your voice means nothing. This meeting is for you to vent and then they go back and do whatever they FEEL is what they want to do. One last point the Gyms get no news on the TVs anymore. Because in their wisdom they made an overreaching decision that you are not adult enough to watch the news while on the treadmill. You cannot be trusted.

Why isn’t SCW installing solar? Sun City has solar. We could save thousands of dollars on the electric bills.

The Boomers is a wonderful club open to all. My wife and I joined it when we moved to Sun City West. We have met many really nice people through the boomers. Their activities are many and varied. It is through the hard work of the officers and volunteers that makes this club so successful and enjoyable. Kudos to them. All they are asking is to be able to use unoccupied space. Most Sundays in the past years they offered games and entertainment at their club. It appears that the Rec Center Manager has not approved the use of there own club room for Sundays. That is my takeaway of this meeting.

There are activities outside of Boomers which everyone in SCW should have access too. Many of which are in the evening. My wife and I are members of SCW and are also members of Boomer's. Isn't Boomers an after thought of Del Webb's work?

Regardless of the numerous requests, reviewing the operational costs i.e. total FTE needs to be reviewed as well as costs associated with bids on large repairs. Does the board really believe after 40+ years of increasing FTE this does not need Reviewing. Every general manager has increased FTE every year, yet the size and number of residents has not changed. No one thinks this is odd?
