I like this. I would just like to add that there are a lot of residents who feel "not listened to", particularly by the General Manager position in the past. I personally did not find general meetings to be a place where I felt people were really listened to. Particularly with the paid staff, it often seems like they see it just as a business to be run. I'd like to think we are more than that; this is our lives that we residents are talking about.

Regardless of the numerous requests, reviewing the operational costs i.e. total FTE needs to be reviewed as well as costs associated with bids on large repairs. Does the board really believe after 40+ years of increasing FTE this does not need Reviewing. Every general manager has increased FTE every year, yet the size and number of residents has not changed. No one thinks this is odd?

Why isn’t SCW installing solar? Sun City has solar. We could save thousands of dollars on the electric bills.
