They sent me the wrong harness to begin with. They sent me the one that hooks up to the existing connector which this car did not have. I got the right one and installed it no problem thanks to the help of your video. But I’ve got no lights coming on on the trailer. What would cause this? The manufacturer curt claims that they test the harness underload before they ship them. I found one frayed wire on the trailer, but would one frayed wire prevent all of the lights from coming on?

Just an FYI, today I discovered on my 2012 Escape that if you remove fuse 19 from the passenger fuse box (25A fuse) it disables the rear wiper motor but still allows you to spray fluid on your front window. I'm not gonna bother fixing mine because I feel like it's unnecessary on such an old vehicle. I'm used to driving cars that don't have rear wipers anyway.

You’re not adding enough oil. That’s a 5 quart jug, not 5 liter. 4.8 liters = 5.07 quarts. You should have dumped the entire container in.

The video is very cool! I saw an installation on a Civic G10 where the sequential arrow flashes along with the car's arrow when turning the alarm on and off. I imagine that the yellow turn signal wire needs to be connected to the positive pole of the car's turn light, is that correct? Where should the black be connected? on the negative of the battery or on the negative of the turn light? (maybe it doesn't matter because it's the negative). And where should the red wire be connected? In the post-key post positive or in which positive? IF THE RED IS PLUGGED IN THE POST-KEY, THE SEQUENTIAL TURN SIGN DOES NOT FLASH ALONG WITH THE ALARM. Any tips for the sequential arrow to flash along with the car arrow that flashes when the alarm is turned on and off? Thanks.
