If I may add, you mentioned that there were no instructions. So, it would be helpful to highlight the wiring harness, like what color goes where, and you did not check the individual lights. For example, the reverse lights

Nice videos as always! You’ve given me a lot of ideas to mode my car. The first mode I did on mine was to get dual Greddy exhaust. Are you planning to change your exhaust?

No, it does not flash. Just solid red

I didn’t connect the black cable to both tail lights but it still is synchronized and sequential. How does this happen? Do I need to connect the black wires?

I am not sure why it's working without connecting it but I would suggest to connect it to avoid future problems.
