I'm curious if the snow scene you mentioned in your video revealed any panel uniformity issues on the B9. The B9 I test drove recently had some DSE that occasionally reared its ugly head when the screen was all one color in real life content. Something I wasn't happy about with a TV so expensive. Also, what was your local dimming setting in these videos? Many people have noticed LD medium (the Sony recommended setting) took a huge hit after the latest update, showing a lot more blooming than previously. As a result, gamers have started using LD high despite the suppression of HDR highlight brightness.

@@suedepup fortunately I checked uniformity when I got mine by running a black to white test which had gray slides in the middle. The only small flaws I saw were in the corners. @@bungalowtomcat1 how much did you get to play with the actual tv settings? For me, the Bravia 9 and Bravia 7 shine best when you can crank them to their peaks. As I said in my original comment, you can get about 85 to 90% of the Bravia 9 picture from the Bravia 7. They share the same processor. The biggest difference will be the x wide angle being absent, blooming control should be better, especially in a dark room, and the brightest brights will definitely favor the Bravia 9. Love the oled contrast, that crisp image, but also the versatility of Bravia 9. Another reason for oled is that my chair is at about 30 degree angle 10’ away from the tv, so in your honest opinion, would there be a big loss in colour and more blooming, or is it a lot more evident at higher angles, and would you say the contrast gets to be 80-90% of OLED, or is it a lot more noticeable. Why when I adjust my hdr the 2/3 needs more clicks than 1/3
@SpencersStuffTVАй бұрын
@@happyhoildays2010 that can happen. Some tvs get brighter in a smaller window

I play finals too… does this game run at 120 fps now?
@SpencersStuffTVАй бұрын
@@finalsflame it runs at 60fps still. 120fps, unfortunately, wouldn't be possible with this CPU. It's too intensive. They'd have to drop the resolution pretty massively

Its for people with big oled tvs that wants a premium console to pair with their premium tv for the ultimate living room gaming experience.
@SpencersStuffTVАй бұрын
@@dante19890 it's for anyone with a larger tv. The resolution bump in titles definitely improves the overall experience. 😁

Hello I would like to ask you about mode Movie Smooth. It looks perfect by you when its dark in TV then the leds are off and if some lights are on in the TV then leds get on. By me there is always some color in the background no matter if the colours in movie are black or colorfull. Can you help me how can I fix it please ? 🙏🏻🙂

The key is to make sure you have no ambient light in the room, and during calibration, I didn't put the little squares at the end of the screen, but inward a little more, this prevents as much ambient light from affecting the camera. I found in a bright room, having the camera reading the edge of the screen causes it to pick up more of the rooms lighting on darker screens 😊 feel free to ask any more questions if you have them!
