LONG POST ALERT: I wish KZbin had a voice not option lols, this would be a 1, 2 min voice note! I definitely think that you shouldn't get comfortable, that's great advice for everyone honestly. One of the things that happens when we are in a place of destitute is we call on God and we build this relationship with God based off the very uncomfortable situations we are in. We call on God for a miracle and we exercise our faith, when we are in situations of being uncomfortable (I'm guilty of this too at times). What you feel or could be feeling is conviction. When a person is consistently, because their in a certain situation, where they need God to move mightily and quickly. We tend to be a lot more consistent and then the moment that God answer us, we tend to go into this place of feeling like now we can go back, or resort back to our comfort. Meaning we go back to the things that we were doing, indulging in, entertaining and also pick back up, old habits. What ends up happening is that the consistency that we had when seeking the things of God, and for God to move, like praying or being consistent with studying the Bible, we kind of fall off. When God is really after you, and calling you higher he is going to continue to call you and one thing that the Holy Spirit does is make us feel conviction, and uneasiness. So for instance if a person who is constantly reading the Bible, studying the Bible, going to church, going to Bible study, working out, eating, healthier, feeding more, obtaining more knowledge, even in therapy, basically chasing after the higher things in life wanting to live a righteous life, wanting to get deeper in God. That attracts God even more to move in our life. When we are consistently praying, calling on Jesus, Jesus ends up going to the father pertaining to the things of us, and what we need. So when when we go back for, that old skin Jesus helped us shed, or old flesh meaning old habits and ways, something happens and it knocks us off of that path and journey we was on with God. Then we experience one of the two feelings, condemnation or conviction. Condemnation comes when we do things that we know we're not supposed to be doing that we know is a slap I'm the face to God, you feel horrible,and like God hates you, when God tells us that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, or you feel conviction. Certain people (God's chosen individuals) feel conviction when they are slowly falling off on building that relationship with God. Then the Holy Spirit convicts us and let us know hey you got to get it together you are falling off. I've recently discovered that being convicted by the Holy Spirit or even being called by God is literally a blessing. It's an honor for God to have our name in his mouth, because when God is not speaking it is when we need to be worried. God speaks to a lot of people a lot of his children through dreams through prophets, and stuff like that so a lot of the times there's messages that he wants to give Sometimes he might give us dreams of things that can happen in the future or he might give us dreams of things that are happening around us and we don't know it. God will literally start giving you dreams about people,and God is exposing who this person is behind closed doors right but when you don't have the knowledge to understand or interpret your dreams sometimes we could look at it in another more simpler way. So sounds like to me God is after you💗 God understands that we're not able to do this by Our Own Strength that's why he said lean not unto your own understanding right we have to lean on to him for our strength. That's the way that he created us to be, he created us to be in need and sometimes people put their needs on other people when God is saying come to me with all your needs come to me for your strength. He made it that way, because he needs to get the glory and praise out of your life. If he made everything easy we would never give him the glory or the praise. Perfect example the story of Job in the Bible, Job was a rich man, and a righteous man. Who the devil despised, God told the devil no matter what you do job will never cursed or turn his back on God. The devil said of course he wants he's always been prosperous in his life, he asked God for permission to temp Job. The devil told God that, job would curse God's name, lose his faith, and turn his back on God if he went through some very hard trials. job never cursed God, even when his friends told him off and left him. Job praises God, and cursed everything else but God. He went through sickness, he lost children through death,and he never cursed God. God multiplied everything job had after he went through the testing, he received victory, and promotion. The devil's job, is to tempt us and distract Us in this physical reality, because if we are so fixated on the things of this world, and becoming like this world (example cone head movie) he is able to distract us from what really matters. What really matters is where our heart is at, where is our soul at, have we been healed, have we been delivered, have we forgiven people connected to our childhood trauma, have we healed from childhood trauma, have we been doing Gods will for our life. The enemy tries to distract us with all of this stuff in this world, so that our minds are not focused or fixated on the things of God. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins and the blood was spilled it covered all sins all every multitude of sin so the devil was already defeated victories already ours the only Power that he has is to distract us if we let him. And he has the cunning ability to tempt us. When we are in the world and we're living the way we want to live and we're mixing mingling with people and we're doing what we want to do and we're still tapped into certain music that is altering the way we think and view things and we don't even know it, and we're still indulging in certain things God can't really get through to us the way he needs to. But, when he is calling you there is nothing in this world Romans 8 :28 there is nothing that will be able to separate us from God nothing because when he's calling you he's calling you so I would definitely say just answer the call, do not go back to old habits, old situations, and so o, keep moving forward. Victory is yours Torey, you know you can't spell victory without torey minus the E lol, you get what I'm saying 😆 just trying to speak life and to you. Oh and one last thing get The Message Bible comma The Message Bible is the bible translated in a a memorial straight to the point way so that's what I started off with and it gives you straight up with the verses the same in a more relatable way period And also the amplified Bible, I will say get the physical copies because if you download the Bible app on your phone learn from me you will still get distracted it's better to have an actual physical Bible

I think a lot of us relate because we have a desire for more, and if we "relax" our overthinking causes us to get some form of anxiety that tells us if we enjoy the moment or take a break, our desires won't come. I'm a teacher. I'm on go constantly. Summer time always has my thoughts racing. I'm teaching myself through scripture and prayer to rest. Physical rest when we need it will help us emotionally and mentally more than we think ❤

7:25 when you say never go backwards/ against the grain and all that. (It’s what I’ve been doing) Isn’t it okay to go backwards if you use a higher guard? Especially with waves (if you’re doing self cut/ don’t know how to cut waves). Seen a jeezy video a while back when I was barely starting out (it’s been like 6months), he said it’s safer than going with the grain and not following your pattern correctly. This was an amazing tutorial…just a little criticism. It would’ve helped more if you put the guard sizes up on the screen when you switch between them so beginners can understand why the fade is graduating the way it is with this technique…but overall good cut and and even better video💈🙏🏾🔥💯
