Oddly I wasn't aware of the movie, but read the books. John Neill's illustrations are the best. This movie nailed the illustrations. I always liked the illustrations better than the actual stories.

The actress who played Large Marge was also Joan Crawford's maid Helga in the movie Mommie Dearest.

Note to Little John: Bruh, you never would have fought him if you had seem him fight Inigo Montoya.
:17 when he throws himself to the ground it was so natural, you forget he's acting.

Corner is nothing 0% like Robin Hood… … The American actor I'd rather see playing the 1991 version is Tombstone co-star Val Kilmer, because at least he bares resemblance to Robin Hood.

This scene horrified me when I was little. Trust me I’ve seen much more disturbing things before like charlies death scene in the stuff (1985) that scene too freaked me out as well. The every 90’s commercial ever video and that too freaked me out

I remember I had to spend the afternoon and early evening at home alone after school. And to help me pass the time while they were away my parents rented me Return to Oz. I was a quivering mess when they returned.

This movie was truly the "Coraline" of the 1980s. It's that movie that was meant for kids but it has such a spooky and haunting creep factor to it. A mix of fantasy with some dark Lovecraftian elements put in there. With both movies traumatizing and scaring an entire generation. Frightening both kids and even adults too. And you often question yourself as to why these movies where even made for kids to begin with. "Coraline" for us Gen Z's and even Gen Alpha's. And Return To Oz" for the Gen-X/Millenial generations. Tho as a fellow Gen-Z I am happy to say that I grew up with both of these masterpieces. ☺️👍💞✨🎃
