Hey, it doesnt look like youve done an update on the tractor in a while, but i was wondering if you have any photos or video showing how you made the linkage between the motor and the tractor transmission?
@stevenmurphree2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, I moved to a home it doesn't make sense to keep the tractor here, so it's stored at a family farm. I used the factory clutch disk and a pre made motor shaft to 6 bolt adaptor to fit the two together.

DIY Gantry Crane - KZbin It is carried on the trailer, straddling the cargo area, and is mounted on wheels with a ramp on the sides of the trailer. Operates independently of the trailer, and can have a simple rotary gear plate, welded onto the wheel hub, with an electric motor mounted on the side for electric locomotion. Must have clearance for the wheel wells for easy storage and mounting on trailer. Also, different sized tubes for vertical posts, so that the height of the crane can be adjusted. And, an adjustable attachment pole, with the appropriate multiple pulleys attached, to use the lift to raise and lower height adjustment when necessary.

If you would clean the boat, engine and bilges, any leaks will be immediately apparent, and you won't get crap in the guts of engine, steering, trans, and etc.

The hand pump is for bleeding air out of system either you have an air leak or weak lift (low pressure) fuel pump.

Take your time but keep continuity. I strongly suggest to arrange for the best, all that frankenstein wiring and equipment I could see, to increase reliability. All that vintage radar stuff take too much space and deck visibility. The same functions are now integrated on a single tablet. However, redundant key equipment will be allways greeted. Could be the A/C be restored?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the bearing making a sound around a certain RPM? What bearing? Cheers from Brooklyn. On my channel I’m working on a Yanmar diesel which ran away on me.
@stevenmurphree Жыл бұрын
On this boat there's a shaft bearing between the transmission and the cutlass bearing. That bearing had water up to it while the boat was stored on land and had a window leak. No amount of lube seems to help so I'll have to remove the shaft and replace the bearing eventually. Best of luck on your project!

that’s a heck of a lot of Liability in order to save a few dollars , if anything goes wrong in this type of a operation Insurance Companies will not wind up covering any of the damages orLosses they are who is basically responsible for regulating the Safety of that Industry and put the Regulations on the Proper Equipment that should be used that are designed by Engineers i’ve been aBoater for more than40 years and Insurance Companies will do their best to not. having to make a Payout on a Claim whenever their is a Claim they will send a Investigation team to determine if they are legally responsible for covering the damages or not i’ve kept many of my Vessels in Marinas over the years and it’s very important to follow the ABYC guidlines and reccomendations as that’s who Marinas World wide turn to for the Overall Safetey of Property and Lives
