Thank you for bringing this video! I heard this music In Tom & Jerry, the flute is very active and impressive. But when I search it on app, I can only find piano version. I'm so happy to find your video and hear the beautiful flute sounds again❤️

La Sonate en trio No 5 de Bach est une pièce magnifique et intellectuelle composée à l'origine pour l'orgue, mais elle se traduit merveilleusement bien pour la flûte et le piano. L'interaction entre la flûte et le piano semble apporter une qualité fraîche et aérienne à la musique, mettant en valeur le contrepoint complexe et les lignes mélodiques de Bach.

The French repertoire of modern instrumental music, including works for the flute, subsumes compositions that defy the conventional narrative of sadness, instead conjuring an atmosphere of profound introspection and nuanced emotional landscapes. Gabriel Fauré, with his instrumental compositions, certainly challenges himself to confront the concrete and the tonal, which can be perceived as somber or disquieting. However, his musical oeuvre for the flute offers pieces that, while they may not be suffused with overt sorrow, still possess an ethereal quality that can stir the soul and provoke a contemplative state. It must be an expectation of the power of music that it can serve as a channel for such a diverse range of emotional experiences, from the depths of despondency to the pinnacles of elation, all within the subtle breaths of a flute.

Thanks for listening! We've been busy preparing for concerts and a mission trip to Europe this summer. Keep working! The best way to polish those high notes is consistent practice. You may not notice a difference right away, but it will improve over time!

We are playing the violin arrangement, which can be found in collections of Kreisler transcriptions. You might try looking online , either on a music download website, or imslp.org. We made a couple of alterations in the octaves, which are easily added. Good Luck!

I'm not a musician, but I listen a lot and I enjoy it. I find this interpretation very balanced in terms of the roles of the piano and the flute. The flute expresses a very warm sound, I hear sustained notes, with vibrato, ligatto and very good joints. The performance of the piano is very subtle but with a technique that does not lose any note and creates the atmosphere that the work requires. I think they are very good artists. A lot of personal and professional success. It was very gratifying to hear your interpretation.

Wow! My dog always howls when i play high notes. I didn't know if she was complaining or joining in. Then she listened to you. It seems she perked her ears in enjoyment. Thank you. Once again you never fail to disappoint. I loved your arrangement I had to search out the sheet music. Although I find it easier to play it in C major. I kept coming back to replay it as being legally blind I play by ear. I played it to one of my carecall clients who is a 100 and she loved it and wanted more. Bless you guys, your awesome

Thank you so much! Yes, the key of D-flat is a little darker, and it gives a different color to the melody. We are using the Kreisler arrangement that was written for violin- it transcribes so easily to the flute! Have blessed day and thank you so much for listening!

Would you consider doing an arrangement of Solvieg’s song from Peer Giant. I heard some arrangements for flute and piano, but I am sure you guys will knock it out of the park.
