I've had the spinshot for 6-8 months and use it 2-3x a week. I had a Lobster, which I sold because I was led to believe how much better this machine is over other manufacturers. Although, in concept, I feel like Spinshot was on the right track as far as using wifi on my phone to change the settings, however I'm overall quite disappointed in its use. The settings are inconsistent and I usually have to spend 20 minutes making adjustments each time I use it. It's very maddening. I wish I had gone with one of the other highly rated pickleball machines instead of the spinshot.

Hello, I am very satisfied with the Spinshot Pro 2 Machine. I find the 12 Custom Drills useful. I made some changes to the default values so that the drills match my tennis balls and my preferences, but I kept the general concept of each drill. I often do them. I don´t want to overwrite them. I really would like to have the opportunity to create additional pages with different set of drills in the app - for additional customer drills. E.g., grounstrokes-volley-smash, fastball-moonball, dropshot-lob and so on, to my preferences. And when I coach my children, there are completely different requirements. So is there any way that the machine will be able to handle more than 12 drills?

What they don't tell you that the machine tray is not designed to tilt downwards. You'll only get maybe half the balls dropping in the ball carousel . Spinshot - do something about the tray!

I find it does nothing until I push it to get the red light on -- and that push (short or long) simply turns on the red light with no change in what the machine is doing. Then if I push it quickly once after that, it will go to Drill 1. If I push it for a prolonged time, it will usually stay on "Manual" and start. When I want to stop it, I cannot do that by one prolonged push --- again, nothing happens until I first push it (short or prolonged) to get the red light back on. Then what it does after that seems to be entirely up to what it is in the mood to do. I find it very difficult to stay on Manual and simply start and stop it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,i got some questions , 1. high spin model can really produce 130 km?? 2,Also ,when using one drill and finish 6 balls, continue the same drill again if not stop it ? 3. Moreover, it will be updated in soon for machine,or some better watch remote control like spinfire? Because its not might useful having on the court mobile phone. And this watch remote it seems to simply , without changing speed, and also imagine me to press 12 times button for 12 th drill. Thanks

thanks for your great questions! 1. Yes, the high speed motors are a lot more powerful than our original motors. the high speed motors can produce speeds of 130km. 2. the drill will continue to play until the hopper is empty 3. yes we have a remote watch that connects to the machine via bluetooth.the remote watch can start and stop the ball feed and switch between drills. we suggest you make drills 1 - 6 your favourite drills and use drills 7 - 12 for the drills you play least often. our customers told us they prefer the Drill Maker app to a remote control like spinfire. remotes tend to get lost and have limited functionality so we can chosen to make a much superior phone app instead.

What about short balls? At intermediate level I seemed to have to constantly run to the net. The ball is not always perfectly placed for the baseline rally. That to me is easy. It's the one that falls on the baseline and next barely over the net. So annoying. So you are all over the court.

Is the remote app the only way to turn it on from far? Or does the iPhone app allow you to turn in on from afar? Is there an Apple Watch app? I think an Apple Watch app would be ideal to be able to start and stop the machine from afar.

The app would really benefit from a notes section. When trying to remember each shot it's better to have a place I can come back to rather than see a bunch of numbers related to the shot sequence.

Can I sequentially link multiple drills together meaning once one drill goes thru the 6 shots, it automatically will go to the next drill you’ve linked together, and keep doing that they all the drills you’ve linking together. I was recently told the newest Player hi-spin model has added this feature, but the Spinshot rep is being vague on exactly how that feature has been added i.e. the drills can be linked via the App or on the control panel.

Hi, yes you can link the drills together by quickly pressing the drill buttons in a sequence (eg. drill 2, 3, 9). This will link the drills 2, 3 & 9 together and play them in sequence. This works when you are using the control panel on the machine.

Just used mine for the first time today. Was disappointed as I could not get the machine to always do what was programmed in the app. The Drill Maker app showed one thing but the machine did something else. Hope I can get some help from SpinShot Sports.

Is there an option to have internal rechargeable battery and external battery? I do not have AC outlet at the courts, but also would not always need multiple batteries ( ie, sometimes internal battery life would be sufficient and other times would need two batteries for a workout).

Hi, yes in your scenario we would suggest you opt for the external battery kit which allows you to use one or multiple batteries depending on the length of time you want to play on that particular day. The battery would always sit external to the machine as it is not possible to have one inside and have the external battery kit fitted. Having the external battery is a real bonus - it makes the machine lighter and when it comes to charging the battery you just disconnect the battery from the machine and plug it into the charger, which is easier and quicker than wheeling the whole machien inside to charge.

Your original battery can be used with either the external battery module or the hybrid battery module.

For the return of serve we suggest you set your machine up on either side of the court and face it across the court to the service box. Then create a drill with the horizontal position of 8, 9 & 10 and play with the height settings to have the ball land in the service box. You can add spin to increase the difficulty.

Thanks for the video, this is the first I had heard of Spinshot, used a Lobster years ago for tennis a few times. Can spinshot...lobster or tutor be configured for tennis then switch to pickleball the same day? Or do they need to specifically say Pickleball machine you have now used this machine for 3 months.... which do you recommend and with which options? Price points are from $1000-4000? Anyplace where you can try one out? Driving from Maryland to Jacksonville FL in a couple of weeks for the winter (Nov 2022) on I95 then to Tampa on I75? I can go out of my way a little.

The Pickleball machine is a seperate machine to the tennis ball machine. They have different service wheels to suit the different balls used.
