could you please answer this question for me because i am very very confused about it I have a speed ticket . When filling out the N-400 application, I answered "No" to "Have you EVER committed, agreed to commit, asked someone else to commit, helped commit, or tried to commit a crime or offense for which you were NOT arrested?" and "Yes" to "Have you EVER been arrested, cited, detained, or confined by any law enforcement officer, military official (in the U.S. or elsewhere), or immigration official for any reason, or been charged with a crime or offense, or notified that you were being investigated for a crime?", then I entered citation in "Crimes and offenses Table " When I go to the next question 16 "If you received a suspended sentence, were placed on probation, or were paroled, have you completed your suspended sentence, probation, or parole?" What should I answer here? "Yes" or "No"? It seems both answers don't apply to me and I am not sure what to put here?

Hi !! Can i ask what about 62 years old with disability you think they will give him the 65/20 special consideration civics questions? Thank you in advance...
@uscitizenpod5 ай бұрын
Go under USCIS Tools www.uscis.gov/tools/uscis-tools-and-resources 1. Choose "e-request" 2. Choose "Service Request" 3. Choose "Disability Accommodations for Appointments" And describe his disability. I seriously doubt that he will be given the "65/20 special consideration civics questions," especially if he has not completed the required years of lawful permanent residence, but it never hurts to ask for an accommodation.

My sponsor filed h1b petition ( i129 ) last year but sponsor claims that USCIS might've lost the petition as the cheque is not encashed and pettition tracking number is not provided. I suspect probably h1b petition would have got rejected and they're simply miscommunicating that to make themselves look so clean. Any ideas ?
@uscitizenpod6 ай бұрын
First, find you USCIS Receipt Number--this is number is on the letter from the USCIS that says that it received the petition. Next, go to egov.uscis.gov/ . There you will see several tools that can help you. The first one is "Check Case Processing Times." Enter your form (I129) and closest field office/lockbox. Not the date it is filing petitions. Then go to "Check Case Status" online. It will ask for you receipt number and then it will tell you what the status is. If the date of your petition in 90-180 days past the date stated by the date on the "Check Case Processing Times," submit a "Case Inquiry--Case Outside Normal Processing Time." I hope this helps.

Hello i have questions where can i find USCIS online account number? What should i add to child and spousal support or just to leave it? Do you want Social Security Administration to issue you an original or replacement Social Security number and update your immigration status with the SSA if and when you are naturalized?
@uscitizenpod6 ай бұрын
If this is your first time filing a case online, you probably don't have an online acct number yet. It is ok to leave this blank. Once you submit your N400 online, check your profile of your online account--the number should appear there my.uscis.gov/account/applicant/settings# . Also check: www.uscis.gov/file-online/how-to-create-a-uscis-online-account and this article citizenpath.com/faq/uscis-online-account-number/ As for your SSN card--do you already have a card? Do you already have a number? A new citizen is required to report to the SSA.gov their change of legal status from "lawful permanent resident" to "US citizen". See www.ssa.gov/personal-record/update-citizenship-or-immigration-status

Thanks--Kulwinder is a really great guy and family man. He couldn't come to class often, so he transformed in truck cab into his "classroom" and would listen to citizenship practice interviews non-stop. His biggest challenge came during the interview when the USCIS officer insisted that he had committed crimes in India and England. Although Kulwinder had not practiced for these questions, he remained very calm ("like crawling through a big big traffic jam"), and was able to give details about dates and places of previous residences and employment, and had many family photos and videos on his phone. Afterwards he found out that there was another with the same name who had "problems, not me." Kulwinder Singh of Milpitas is doing fine.

Hello I have a question I'm doing the N-400 online for my mom and I want to do it based on the English excemption language test because of the age and the time with the green card (55/15). But I don't see in this new version where to check for this exception. Any help please!!!!!
@uscitizenpod6 ай бұрын
1. Exemptions and Accommodations 1a. www.uscis.gov/citizenship/exceptions-and-accommodations 1b. Note: your mom must be a legal permanent resident for 15 years (not live in the US for 15 years) and be over 55. 1c. Note: your mom will need to answer questions based on the N-400 and civics questions in Spanish. 2. Bottom of N-40 instructions page 8 under Naturalization Testing and Exemptions 2a. www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/n-400instr.pdf 2b. Many USCIS offices have officers who can interview applicants in Spanish. However, the instructions don't say that a Spanish-speaking officer will be provided. The instructions do say that you must provide your own interpreter. 2c. Also, complete section 12 (Interpreter) and 13 (Preparer) because you are translating and explaining the N-400 to your mother. 3. If your are filing electronically, go to the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION section 3a. Chose YOUR IMMIGRATION INFORMATION, and IF YOU ARE A LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENT..... 3b. Add a comment that because of the 15/55 exemption, you are requesting a interview in Spanish. I can't post the photo here, but I will post it to www.youtube.com/@uscitizenpod/community

@jamiljamil19416 ай бұрын
The new form is accurate and accepted by USCIS and they dont need your spouse info or parent if you're applying under " general provision ".
@uscitizenpod6 ай бұрын
Use the current form. The N-400 focuses on children under 18 because they derive U.S citizenship from you when you become a citizen. Your wife and parents do not derive citizenship from you. If you are worried about "total members of your household" (Section 10:3-4), include the people who physically live with you--your, wife, kids, and parents.

thank you for your beautiful and helpful immigration video teacher Jennifer ..(( I found a mistake in the N-400 on-line application form ")) . I am married to non U.S citizens and I am applying for my U.S Citizenship under( general provisions ) eligibility ,and again my spouse is NOT U.S citizens, she is just green card holder like me , the new form of N- 400 online and in paper Doesn't have the questions about my spouse or about my parents at all !! After I answer the question about my marital status, I chose married , then the online applicant it takes me automatically to the question : Is your current spouse currently a member of the U.S. armed forces? I answer NO , then it take me direct to my children's info ,there was NO Questions at all about my current wife or Ex wife or my parents !!! is this Normal in the new N -400 form if you are applying under general provision?? please take a look and try the new form and us know . thank you very much and once again thank you for your video's.
@uscitizenpod6 ай бұрын
You are absolutely correct. The paper N-400 asks for the spouse's name; but the online account does not. I suggest that you upload a copy of your marriage certificate, along with a copy of your green card. USCIS has received comments about this problem and will probably correct it in the upcoming months.
