Lived on SI many years, a wonderful place. Attended 1978 Rainbow Gathering in Oregon but found the druggies, moochers, and criminal element too much. The drugs, bullies, dogs, and day care center activities didn't enhance the jamboree experience. The nude female twenty somethings was a nice distraction but, altogether, it was a crowd difficult for me to swallow.

Ainda bem que há capitalismo e progresso! Sem ele, a maioria desta gente não teria vindo a Portugal (pois não haveriam aviões nem qualquer outro meio de transporte que não fosse o próprio pé). Muitos deles já teriam até morrido (pois sem vacinas e medicina pré-natal/pediatria uma parte significativa teria morrido após o parto). Não haveria instrumentos musicais para ninguém.
