Lived on SI many years, a wonderful place. Attended 1978 Rainbow Gathering in Oregon but found the druggies, moochers, and criminal element too much. The drugs, bullies, dogs, and day care center activities didn't enhance the jamboree experience. The nude female twenty somethings was a nice distraction but, altogether, it was a crowd difficult for me to swallow.

I'm so sad i didn't know about this at the time this event happened. can some please tell me when the next gathering is happening in new zealand again next? :)
