Hi captain how much time do you spend on a ship for the journeys?
@alexandrusalavastru275119 сағат бұрын
If 3 million per month is spent on fuel, i wonder how much they spend per month for other expenses such as sallary, food and port fees. And at the end of the month how much $ a ship can earn on average. Sorry for the question, but i'm a fan at profit and loss sheet.
@MustaphaZehhaf10 сағат бұрын
This is the max FO amount consumed when the vessel is sailing at high speed which is not the case for us all time

How long does your ship consume 3 millions of fuel?

That's a lot of fuel. I thought LNG carriers used boil off gas for propulsion whenever able to.
@MustaphaZehhafКүн бұрын
Yes, we use LNG for more than 50 % of daily fuel consumption

I have seen some captains cabins myself bit still i decided to watch the vedio... And GOOD thing is that i learned something from you... That is, keep your electronic devices aways from your bed at sleeping time to ensure good sleep. I was doing it recently but you highlighted its efficiency even more... Bravo

I long for the days when you could cross the oceans by sending just a telegram at midday. When I stopped sailing, you spent more time answering emails and answering impertinent phone calls than performing nautical duties. Buena suerte y mar en calma

@@MustaphaZehhafThese are new times. Years ago, when satellite communications began to become popular, an old colleague told me something that was prophetic: "This is the death of the captain. Now they govern the ship from the office. They will end up asking us for the daily consumption of toilet paper." Be patient and courageous, and when things get ugly, disconnect the phone.
