yes!!! i knew you would come around on ray you just needed some more time behind the scenes with him 😭. but yes he’s a very nuanced character but i love that this episode gave more light to the reasoning behind his behavior. even though i still didn’t like boston, i understood him a little more after this episode as well. the creators did a really good job making characters so complicated yet so understandable.

I know this video is older but I’m loving your reaction to this show so far and i’m currently binging but I just wish you gave Ray a little more grace. Mew is ALSO taking advantage of Ray just as much as Ray is doing to Mew. Ray is using Mew for affection and acceptance since he’s never had it before (before sand) and we can see that he’s starting to realize that he gets that from sand and likes it more when it’s from sand in the first place. Mew is crashing out (understandable) from the breakup and is taking advantage of Ray’s bad behavior/addictions and love for him knowing he probably won’t tell him no and will provide him with all the things he wants to use in order to get back at Top. I don’t think it’s fair to judge Ray for his relationship dynamic with Mew in this episode and not do the same for Mew’s involvement. I think you’ll come to this conclusion though so I’m gonna keep watching!

I don’t feel he need to be mad cause he’s not even saying there’s a possibility of them falling in love practical my ass. He needs a freaking caretaker for his house not a wife. Smfh

after watching a couple of rxtns for s4, i realised that what d boys said in d backyard when they wer talking abt Nooora and Yousef was assumptions they had made of them because one of em had caught him chatting with Noora....and even more, assumptions bulit on d knowledge that i guess they have of the Yousef and NOORA kiss as well as her good looks and they've been spotted a couple times talking together (including d kiss). lol. boy, can assumptions be wrong!

In the book Penelope is a wonton ( Regency horny girl). It's amazing how Nicola pulled that off.

27:15 ik this video is a year old, but in the book, thresh and cato do fight it out. they run off together after the feast, and it's implied that they spend literal _days_ chasing each other and fighting, in pouring rain btw, before cato eventually comes out on top. also, when katniss finds out thresh is dead, she has a moment where the emotional exhaustion of the whole thing really catches up with her and she almost starts crying. but she has to pick her words carefully when explaining this to peeta, because the cameras are on, so she can't just say that she _liked_ thresh and she didn't want him to die, which is the truth. it's a nice moment and gives his death some gravity, because his sparing her leaves her feeling a sort of kinship with him, and at the end of the day, he didn't deserve this any more than rue did. if it wasn't her and peeta, she wanted it to be thresh. i think it's a much better death for his character, but i guess they cut it for runtime.
