Melania Trump’s gown was inspired by the Constitution. it was white, form-fitting, and the top had wispy chiffon. It also had a red thin sash that went around her waist. The sash represented a red ribbon tied around a rolled piece of paper, aka the Constitution. Melania is extremely patriotic.

@skiddledede8885 you have to understand too, there is a process the Smithsonian goes thru to get those gowns put in the right places. A lot of processes lol. If I remember correctly, she has officially donate the gown. They make a big production out of it. While Trump was in office, it should have been in the center case. And if I remember correctly, it was there. They often times have to also donate the entire ensemble. That means the shoes, jewelry, coats and purses.

I can't help but see it as an interesting experiment of architecture on its conception by Gaudi. In the realm of Church construction, where traditionalism was the norm especially during his time; I think he legitimately had a point to make artistically speaking. Unfortunately, the resulting construction is an eyesore. The patterns and motives used, result in an eclecticism that doesn't really make a cohesive whole, both on the inside and outside. Possibly the only thing I enjoy about it is the Stained Glass art. The lighting and vivacious colors are nothing but incredible to look at.
@TheEmptyArmchair8 ай бұрын
For the longest time I couldn't stand the look of it myself. It's still a bit out of my comfort zone, but the interior with the stained glass is breathtaking. I guess it is true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for watching!

Hi - enjoyed your video. we've done this itinerary several times from SF and other ports. Just a hint for anyone that needs assistance boarding you can ask for wheelchair assistance. My husband needs this as he can't stand that long and the gangway ramp is too much. Jus t ask when you drop off your luggage with the porters and they will point you in the right direction. Did you like the Hotel Riu? I may consider that for our next cruise. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Thanks for the hint for wheelchair users. That was very nice of you to suggest. We liked Hotel Riu very much. We appreciated how close it was to Pier 39 and Boudin's. The staff was incredibly helpful in arranging transport for us from the hotel to the pier. The breakfast selection was extensive and there was lots of seating available, although you have to line up for it. I expect the hotel handles a lot of tour groups based on the large groups that were there that morning.
