I dunno about that, the sales numbers look better than some of the more popular games on tcgplayer and the game is unique enough to have a small slice of the market. The biggest hurdle I've had with the game is learning it. The material from the developers is terrible at explaining their own game.

Etb effects don’t work with Nikos activated ability, but flicker effects are still nice to get more shards.

Etb effects do work with the thing you target and exile. When it comes back at end of turn it'll trigger any etb.

I try to break down each card as much as possible without making the videos super long and going over 70-100 cards in less than an hour gets a bit rough. Since lands are at the end i tend to try to speed through them to wrap up the video since they are typically the least interesting but yeah its a solid card.

Yeah in my head I was thinking this is good for the ninja commander Yuriko and I think that messed me up. I meant to say Planeswalker, not commander.

Not in any easy way, I believe that if you used a card maker site like MTGCardSmith and than used that during the last step as a manual upload.

Edit: sorry, didn't hear on first pass that you didn't want combos. But consider; the deck needs finishers. You likely don't want a game dragging on and not having a way to close it out on your own terms. Hence the combos. I find that without at least one combo for Ayara, the deck can durdle in the late game. Good list, overall. I would suggest that if you're going to run Warren Soultrader that you include Gravecrawler. It's a no-brainer, easy combo that can win a game with either Ayara or Blood Artist out. Also, Plague of Vermin should be considered as it combos with Ayara.

Yeah I typically don't add combos to the deck because it can feel a little cheesy. So far I've played the deck about 10 times and it's done extremely well against some pretty powerful decks. If people want to play the combos I can add them to the considering section of the decklists but I don't think I will. If it gets to late game and I fizzle out it's ok to die and move to the next one. The deck has only run out of gas once so far. Just drew a bunch of lands in a row in my most recent game. It happens.

Any tips for trying to print specific token cards? I have a deck that needs 20 different types of tokens (I know, it's a little over the top for token generation), and I'm having difficulty trying to export token art to MPCfill. I tried to export them the same way as normal cards but only 2 of the tokens were recognized. Am I doing something wrong, or perhaps no art exists for many tokens at all and I'm out of luck? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Pat has had good luck with tokens as long as they are also on the MoxField page you export/import from, make sure that they're on that list.

Ive been trying to do this for a bit but because im trying it on a mac it isn’t working. Im not getting something like a "autofill-Windows.exe" for mac. Im getting a file with a bunch of text. do you or anyone know to to get this working for Mac?

glad you tried Sorcery. Once you get all the mechanics down, it is very fun and engaging. LOL, funny you spent so long figuring out "fall asleep" for the slumbering giantess. It is a fun literal statement that she enters the battlefield asleep (hence her name & type text) and can't do anything until attacked or damaged which wakes her up. But yeah, you definitely need to learn all the rules/mechanics. Sorcery is chess not checkers...

I (matt) see potential in the game far more after playing it than I did before. I plan to try it again with another buddy of mine after watching some more games and tutorial videos. I'm glad I tried it but man was it frustrating.

Everything went through correctly and without a problem. Got to the payment status and it wouldn't accept any of my cards. Tried 3 different ones, double checking that I'm entering everything right. Just kept saying there was a problem.

I bought a box of commander masters. Got a foil etched deflecting swat and a few other good hits. The deflecting swat was definitely the best of them though

It's pretty crazy how low they've fallen. I really did think they'd hold more value than what they are now. It always feels like every set is a crap shoot on what will maintain value and what won't. This set was super hyped and unfortunately feels like a bit of a flop. I'm curious if they've bottomed and will one day be worth something. It's hard to tell because every new set has some new special treatment and while I do love new flashy treatments it can definitely hurt collectability. I'm still on team proxy.

Currently running it in an Omnath, Locus of All politics deck. The most goofy deck I own, and I love it. I can Enlightened Tutor for Annie, and put it on top of my library with the Omnath trigger.

The bizarre “retrotech” and vintage 80s-90s clothes of Duskmourn feels so out of place in main-set MTG. The art’s fine, would look great even in a Stranger Things TCG or TTRPG. I think it’s good art, poor concept design. My two cents.

No being able to attack or block alone is bad this card gets blown out hard maybe playable with enough flicker and tokens but building around feels bad. I’ve played against it a few times and every time in like yeah no scary at all, if you play any okay amount of kill spells this thing is terrible

I first time saw magic cards when i was 7 in 1998. startet to play til 2004. my son is 6 now. Hes interested in different cards now but magic comes into my mind these days often and i buy a starter Pack. I really could convince my wife to learn and play magic with me. We have a lot if fun playing 1-3 games when kids are sleeping since a month now. I really dont like the idea of commander. I want to play the classic magic im familiar with. After some research on foundations, its clear that the Jumstarter option would be the best for us 2. My magic community is at home. Not at a Lgs. I have not the time for diving deeper in, maybe in a couple years when my son wants to start play.

It's pretty crazy, it's a vultron deck in disguise. You will draw tons of hate so make sure to wear protection 😅. Slip out the back is a really good one.
