OUTA - Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse

Over time, the South African Government has introduced a number of taxes, levies and fees, which have fallen short of their intended purpose, be it due to poor POLICY, unenforceable LEGISLATION, or unacceptable CONDUCT. OUTA’s mission is to be a trusted vehicle for positive change, promoting and advancing the South African Constitution and other democratic processes, to:

To challenge taxation policy and / or the regulatory environment, when these are deemed as being irrational, unfit or ineffective for their purpose intended.
To question and challenge the squandering, maladministration and corrupt use of taxes, through a clear and effective methodology, and to hold those responsible to account.

OUTA is a non-profit Civil Action Organisation, comprising of people who are passionate about improving prosperity of our nation. We are apolitical and rely on funding from the public, business and other donor institutions, to do our work.
