I’m not a doctor but I do believe protein is responsible for your muscle mass which is why they say you should increase your protein to prevent wasting. However I believe that hiv feeds off of protein. I would say keep your protein to a bare minimum. The task is to figure out how to regenerate new cells or properly repair the infected cells. Furthermore you want to focus on supreme gut health because that is where your immune system lies. How can folks have a disease and still put harmful things into their gut?

Sorry that you have to go through this. Luckily, today it is very manageable. U = U. I sm HIV-, but have dated people who are HIV+. I am on PreP. They hsve been undetectable. I don't want risk not having a future with someone based on that. Especially with me on PreP, its 98/99% effective. Told him it is a non issue.
