Sturgis is great. People are nice, businesses really put a lot of effort into their craft, and it's overall a very clean and positive place to be. I wish the same could be said about Rapid City, which has been a major let down for my family since moving here three years ago. Businesses only exist for profit margin and put minimal effort into what they do. Job market is horrible with horrible paying jobs, and the school district is very disappointing. Bums stay posted up on nearly every corner of town it seems, and the wealth gap here is disgusting. The Black Hills are a bit full of themselves I'm afraid, seeing as how I can buy a much nicer house in Florida for the same price if not cheaper. Way too many vape shops and liquor stores here also keeping the locals dumb and complacent.

Love your content! I noticed that your channel has a lot of potential, but a few simple SEO changes could really help bring in more viewers. I enjoyed your video. Spearfish Recently Lost it's only Taxi Company. Both Barbeque restaurants shut down last year. Uber Claims to serve spearfish but there are never any cars. The On-demand transit is OK but you have to reserve a day in advance. . I retired here 2 years ago, and Ive seen a few stores close. There are good points here too. I do not Drive or own a car, I do get rides from friends. there is talk of a regular transit service form Spearfish to deadwood in the works. The people here are extremely friendly.

Hey David! I have a daughter with seizures who is unable to drive and the public transportation problem is definitely one that hits home. I hope a new Taxi company starts here and the ride sharing services pick up. We have used the on-demand transit many times as well but sometimes things come up and its hard to plan 24 hours in advance all the time. Thanks for your perspective and and watching! Appreciate it!

@@LivingInBlackhillsofSD The On-demand transit is actually supposed to cover deadwood because it is the county seat. it's supposed to be part of their federal funding, they will take you to deadwood one day a week (Thursdays). ($20 ROUND TRIP) As far as the former Cab company, I used them briefly when i first moved here. Their minimum fares ($10) were too high for the short distance covered. The entire spearfish area is really small, I can walk to everything Downtown, but Walmart is 2 miles away. I will be looking forward to your new videos.
