Sturgis is great. People are nice, businesses really put a lot of effort into their craft, and it's overall a very clean and positive place to be. I wish the same could be said about Rapid City, which has been a major let down for my family since moving here three years ago. Businesses only exist for profit margin and put minimal effort into what they do. Job market is horrible with horrible paying jobs, and the school district is very disappointing. Bums stay posted up on nearly every corner of town it seems, and the wealth gap here is disgusting. The Black Hills are a bit full of themselves I'm afraid, seeing as how I can buy a much nicer house in Florida for the same price if not cheaper. Way too many vape shops and liquor stores here also keeping the locals dumb and complacent.
