This episode was the best one I've seen so far from season 1. Knowing that the pairs had to play against each other must of been terrifying. The old man and the young girl had the best stories in this one.

Tug of War is such a turning point in the games because this is the first game where people HAVE to die. Before, in theory, everyone could live. It's very unlikely, but it's possible for all 456 players to still be around at this point. But now things are different, you living means someone else dies. Which puts a whole new spin on the games that we next see with marbles.

I think my netflix accidentally skipped this whole scene bc it just cut to ali being dead for me
