This year (senior year) i sat out all year due to an injury i had from basketball season. I had a scope on my knee, so wasnt able to participate in any athletics for like 2 months. The week of our district meet i was cleared. A week of training, put in the slow heat. I ran a 2'17.3. I won our district 800 by a half second with a week of training after doing nothing for 2 months. Im now training daily to attempt to walk on at DI University of Louisiana in Monroe (my time before this was 2:07). Im so thankful i still have the opportunity to compete.

I wish 2:17 won my district. Our best 800 runner got third with a 1:58.21, 5th place ran 1:58.26. 8 of 16 kids in the finals ran sub 2. My coach didn’t even bother putting me in the 800 because I run 2:07.

Being able to fit the entire last lap of a 3200 into a KZbin short is insane

@@wii240 oh yeah definitely but like if you were running a 4 minute mile that would be good. This guy could’ve done better if he didn’t get out the gate so fast.

Yo I was the kid from Anna who asked "any words of advice before the race" on the 16 and 32 at regionals. Unfortunately didn't break 10 or 4:40 but fun being in the same race as you

Hey man. I’m a 9:53 3200 and 4:33 1600 runner as a junior and I’m looking to drop my times to a low 9 and low 4. I currently swim and run everyday while doing strength training every few days. I was wondering if you have any tips on how to take the next leap and drop my times for my senior year? Thanks.
