How was it? Did it not cause damage to the cv as the height increases? Planning on doing it but not sure if it will hurt other moving parts and might shorten life of other parts.

Great video. You did the job correctly. You cannot turn the strut 180 degrees like some people suggest because the angle on the strut is different. This will ultimately lead to catastrophic failure of the strut and strut tower. If you don’t believe me, tighten only one of the 3 nuts on the strut tower and check out your strut angle. It is completely off.

Would the snapon handle work with the power torque sockets?

Can I use a silicone sealant like Loctite instead of the OEM part, as long as it’s waterproof? My sealant came punctured and I’m trying to find a replacement without waiting for another to ship

What’s the difference between pulling the fuse to reset the codes vs using a code scanner to reset them ?

I just got this, not sure if it's the same exact model, but I've never had a piece of equipment get the best of me like this has. I can't for the life of me get that drawer installed. Just looking at the pre-assembled pieces and how they are "supposed to go" breaks my brain, because it just doesn't seem like they could possibly fit together and actually move the way a drawer should.

That’s awesome. I just learned that the older you get the harder it is to learnn any instruments because there are less neutron in the brain when you’re older that’s why many parent force their child to learn piano or guitars when they’re young

My advice. Get the PowerTorque sockets and use the GW ratchet.
@youtuber57925 күн бұрын
Do they fit and stay in?
@rlgonzalez045 күн бұрын
@youtuber5792 Yup, the GW has the ring on the inside to snag the ridges on the socket

This actually worked. Bought a very nice 2008 Silverado with super low miles this week and the warning light came on this weekend and temp gauge was flat. Much gratitude for the advice and hope this fixed the issue. I’m not a mechanic but it’s nice to do a little research and solve problems. Thank you.

Is there a follow up video for a permanent fix?
@CreativeMechanic23 күн бұрын
It’s going to vary. But it’s either thermostat, coolant sensor, or the engine ECM.
@rm742Ай бұрын
This should also turn off your check engine light but if there is an issue it.might come back on later.
@rm742Ай бұрын
This works but mine flipped again if anybody else's does this it's a good chance it's the thermostat in the engine, I put a 160 degree in mine and it caused this to happen you must use a 190 degree or the computer will read it too cool but yet it will say engine hot turn off AC so use a 190 degree thermostat and it will fix it, it did on my 08 silverado.
