@joelmayerprods Thank you for all you posts here and all that you do. after watching this and your "Moho as a clean up tool" video, I will experiment with the frame by frame more and come up with a work flow that combines FBF, Switches, Vitruvian Bones, Masks, Warps Animating, and Bones/Smart bones

Hab gerade dein Tutorial zu Harmony Essential gesehen, bistdu zu Moho gewechselt?
@joelmayerprods13 күн бұрын
Je nach Projekt nutze ich entweder Harmony (Premium) oder Moho :) Immer das Tool, dass sich halt gerade am besten für ein Projekt eignet.
@badmax731913 күн бұрын
@@joelmayerprods Harmony gefällt mir sehr gut, aber scheiß Preis. Versuche mich mit OpenToonz, aber läuft bei mir so unstabil, dass es keinen Spaß macht.
@joelmayerprods13 күн бұрын

Thank you so much for making this video! Been using adobe animate for the past few years and I have been putting off the jump to a better animation program, but this video makes me super excited to finally start using this program (which appears like just a better version of animate in every way)

Just select the layer of the shape you edited, cut or copy the keys in the timeline on frame 1, go to frame 0 and paste.

@ma5tv393 I really can‘t do troubleshooting on KZbin and it‘s kinda hard to understand your problem. Please ask on the Moho Forums or the official Discord, there are many helpful people there ;) Thanks.

Moho is such an awesome tool. I love to use it as a hybrid for frame by frame with some parts that are done in moho to speed certain aspects up.

Moho simply does not have a big enough community, and learning it is harder than it should be due to out of dat tuts (or lack of tuts)
@joelmayerprodsАй бұрын
There's a whole beginner course on their channel as well as countless webinars by all sort of artists and videos by Victor Paredes showing individual features. Their channel is close to 100k subs, they're super active on social media, i wouldn't call that a small community at all (Discord is also very active as well).

I have MOHO 14 and Reallusion cartoon Animator 5 the reason I chose these “puppet” animation softwares was too avoid drawing frame by frame . MOHO has great rigging features but is a bit weak on audio based lipsinc animation compared to Reallusion Cartoon animator or Adobe Character animator. whenever I mention creating speaking Characters in the MOHO online spaces I get bombarded with, “just do it all by hand bro” If I wanted to manually draw frame by frame I would just use TV paint or Toon Boom harmony.
@mohoanimationАй бұрын
If you want automatic lipsync, you can do it. Just import your audio and then go to the Switch layer properties and select it. Keyframes will be automatically created. Just remember to use the Preston Blair phonemes!

Try restarting Moho if this happens (it happened to me also).

Brilliant, thankyou Joel! Another brilliant video. Skill, warmth, humility and humour! BEST thing is the simple(?) suggestion of mapping 'next/previous key' to < and > !! I had an inrgrained Flash habit F5 F6 F7 (extend, duplicate, blank) for keys... the < and > along with the clickable 'push keys R/L' butons on the timeline has really 'opened up' quick and dirty timing, retiming! A 'simple' thing that really means a lot. Thanks so much again.

19:50 It's strange, but in Windows we don't have previous and next, only previous and next selected.

@@joelmayerprods I'm on 14.2. You can't define it, but alt+arrows does it. I ended up finding one that I liked even more: next/prev keys selected. The difference is that I have to select, and that's good, because I can define which ones I want.

I have searched the entire web but cannot find any tutorial on how to customise the dockers and panels. The panels are locked, cannot move them to a different location, cannot adjust the size, literally cannot customise the setup.

Unfortunately you cannot really customize them. You can only make them visible or invisible or undock them to move them around as free floating windows. Sorry :(
