Great video Joel! Though I am pretty hardcore about clean lines, you make an excellent case for the sketchier/xerox'ed look and it's something I'd like to try. Gotta say that what looked scruffy in close-up on Lara actually still looked quite clean when pulled back, so it's still useful for someone like me to show what you can "get away with". Also agree with your point that the audience usually only watches this stuff once and you don't have to be slavish to the animation quality when music/background/timing/sound etc is all on your side.

I have a question, say you are working on the face, how do you like get the eyes by itself to where you wont mess anything else up while working on that?

Hi! I would just add a synced drawing layer after you animated your face without eyes on top and keep the eyes on a separate layer :) Alternatively, you could put the eyes on let's say the Overlay Layer of the same drawing. Best try it out, but the synced layers are quite handy, unless you want your eyes to have completely different timing, then just make a regular new layer. Hope this helps ;)
