THANKS SO MUCH - I knew I LOVED the 12 string part - but I didn't know what was happening - this explains SO much.

The first B chord is Bm.

There should be an Am immediately after the A chord

I play this with my Epiphone inspired by Gibson Hummingbird. It's amazing, my guitar sounds exactly like this Gibson J160-E. I'm Happy! I also watched a video of (2) Guys, one playing the Gibson Hummingbird and the other playing the Epiphone inspired by Gibson Hummingbird. He said that the Epiphone sounded much better! Sorry to talk about my Guitar through your Lesson by the way is great I learned how to play George's part which is essential to this song! Thanks,

Perhaps the most underrated original song they released. EDIT: That 360/12 is one great sounding guitar!

Not even close. This song sounds like all the other song of this era. Underrated, possibly but you could say that about half of their songs.

@@biggray2 It has one of the first instances of a time signature change in a Beatles song, and certainly has more lyrical substance than When I Get Home

Sorry, I've never heard this song...Which album it is?😮
@user-dl3gk5jp7v28 күн бұрын
This is non-album track. In a first time it was released as second track for the EP "Long Tall Sally" in 1964 and later it appeared in the "Rarities" compilation album in 1979. Of course, the collection of non-album tracks (singles, EPs) "Past Masters" (1988) contained this track as well.

It's style similarities to the song called "You Can't Do That" apparently that's why it wasn't included in LP "A Hard Day's Night" in spite of John Lennon did want to re-record his song. The "Billy J.Kramer and the Dacotas" 1963' version wasn't impressed him at all, so he just wished to show HOW it should have been performed. The origin of this song from pre-Hamburg era (1958?...).

Mostly the right chords, but not all the correct "inversions" of those chords. Watch the Ed Sullivan show & other live performances & you will see that Lennon plays the EM on the 7th fret and the next chord is a B5 power chord, NOT B7.

Only 11K views for this masterpiece of a video? It deserves a million at least. Kanayama san, you nailed it: performance, timing, feeling and the characteristic Beatles' sound. おめでとうございます! ペルーからよろしく。

Thank you for your excellent breakdown of the Beatles' "If I Fell". I'm doing a singing tutorial of the song, John and Paul's harmony and I need the instrumentals to back up the vocals. You've done such a terrific job of providing that. I was hoping you would allow me to use your work in the tutorial video. May I do that with an acknowledgment of your work in the credits?
