Mostly the right chords, but not all the correct "inversions" of those chords. Watch the Ed Sullivan show & other live performances & you will see that Lennon plays the EM on the 7th fret and the next chord is a B5 power chord, NOT B7.

The original is almost definitely the way this video portrayed it. The Ed Sullivan version and other live performance sound different than the original E and B7 chords.

@@avYhz5536 No they don't & there is NO REASON why Lennon would play it one way on the record and then all of a sudden immediately play it differently on ALL those live performances. You are just too stubborn to admit the EM & B7 inversions on this video are WRONG. Also in particular, there is NO B7. It is a B5 POWER chord that is neither major nor minor. IF it were B7, the "A" note which it the flat 7, would stand out like a sore thumb on the record. It does not at all. Sorry....

You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, however even when I listen to isolated rhythm track, I still hear the E that is portrayed in this video. That being said I somewhat struggle to hear an A in the B7 or B5 whatever it may be. I’m not trying to start a war, just making my opinion heard.

@@avYhz5536 You don't fully understand music. There is NO "E" note in the B7 or B5 chord. the chords that Lennon plays on the versus are bar chords: G5, D5, EM, B5. The power chord B5, for example, has NO third in it. In other words, it is neither major nor minor. The Notes in it are B & F#. The reason you can't hear the "A" note on the B power chord, which would be the flat 7, is because it is not there. That's what I've been trying to tell you. LOL
