I think that this death scene is so clever because in the original movie Madeline is the one who attempts to holds her arms and hands over Claudia trying to cover her from the sun for as long as possible; but this time in the reamagened show it is now Claudia who try’s to protect Madeline from the sun shielding with her arms layed out in practically the same position. I think that’s interesting

I loved their relationship, even though sometimes it’s a little awkward because of the age gap. I’m not sure how old Madeleine is-my guess would be late 20s to mid-30s.Can I just say, I literally cried when Madeleine declined to join the theater. Even though Claudia nodded as that was telling Madeleine "Save yourself, I’ll understand," it was heartbreaking. And when Madeleine said, "My coven is Claudia," that’s when the waterworks really started for me.
