God has nothing to do with it. Because humans invent their own gods and then pray to them. It is highly likely we are on our way of creating a superior artificial being and be at the whim of it. But before that, we'll have a lot of fun making art, with or without AI, it is your choice. I do both. I might even paint my own god and pray to it. Just kidding. Yeah, I'll call HIm Justkidding. @@yuko13371 True. I am currently trying to deal with it as a graphic designer. I made 40.000 prompts and got some expertise. But despite all fascination it smells really funny. Still I know I won't get around it. It will kill jobs. What I started to do is write blog articles for others and illustrate them with AI images. I also make specialized image content for spiritual channels. But I wonder how long that will work. Are you an illustrator? What do you fear to lose?

@@andyrevo8081 im 14 ( about to go into highschool ) lol , I would love to pursue art as a career in the games industry as a concept artist or illustrator , the fact that I have to choose my path in life in less than 3 months + both the jobs I want are in risk of being taken over by ai ( progamming and art ) really makes me anxious about the future .

If you delete them it's unlikely they will be found. They aren't really deleted. If you have the job ID, you can retrieve deleted images. They are more hidden than deleted . If you aren't creating in public spaces then they may show up on the Explore page. Create in Stealth mode and they aren't supposed to show on the Explore page.

Does that mean if i create a picture in a private convo with the midjourney bot and then use the x reaction to delete them from my gallery that they still show up on the explore page with my name or are they actually gone from the website? I know they are still on the servers and can be brought back with the job id but i was under the impression that they can only be brought back by the account that created it. Basically im asking are deleted Images still viewable on the website or are they private and only accessible with the job id?

Style tuner only works on version 5.2. Make your default version 5.2. --v 5.2

Yes. And most of them let you use the images any way you want. BUT as of this time, AI images are not copyrightable.

I think you have a misunderstanding about how the AI is trained. Developers are not feeding the labels into the training. The AI is seeing a bunch of art deco images and developing an understanding about what this means. As the AI improves, details about what makes art deco look like this style improve. Midjourney is just about to undertake a big "captioning" project. Where users will label images. This, to get better language to describe images.

@@jaade77 the problem is that there are and have always been tens of thousands of amateur artists who mislabel their work. So in this case AI needs help to straighten out extreme mis-labeling. If I wanted to use the style "abstract expressionism" I would have to create my own model, and rename it something like "real abstract expressionism". I would have to do that for every art movement in the last two hundred years.

They just changed the website when --cref came out. I think it's more confusing now and I hope they change it back! In the bottom corner of the image there should be icons. The paperclip is the --sref.
