Convolution Reverb IR's. Similar concept to cab IR's in the iridium, but dealing with reverb. They'll need to be in .wav format. The purpose of them is to capture the sound of spaces. So people can go create captures for instance of specific buildings, caves, rooms etc...

Do you have a recommendation for a delay pedal that has the panning and delays with modulation that is easier to use?
@TriPedalReviews
@TriPedalReviews 12 күн бұрын
I can only think of 1 other delay you can do it with, and that would be the Meris LVX. It's simpler in the fact that you can hook it up to a computer and it has a computer editor, so setting that up wouldn't be too daunting. But I don't know that on it's own that pedal is simpler. I've done a walkthrough on how that pedal works as well. IMO, I like the LVX more than the 2290 p.

@TriPedalReviews
@TriPedalReviews 15 күн бұрын
It is for sure in my top 5 Lofi pedals. Very controllable, customizable, doesn't limit you to a specific style, and it is the most versatile of my top 5. The only exceptions may be the purely modular pedals (beebo and zoia). But, purely modular approaches have a large learning curve, and you have to develop a lot of the tailored stuff yourself. This one isn't that hard to learn. It's a good balance. This one also has strong community involvement so as time goes on, people will dial in more and more presets that mimic lofi pedals already out there. I've done a few myself already;

I love all the extra functionality, but all the new pedals are coming with USB C ports on them- and I don't have USB C on my computer. If you can't connect them to your computer- you lose a ton of functionality and they're just no longer worth what they cost. So- it appears my next pedal will be a new laptop instead. It will cost a bit more than a pedal- but not much. Tbh you can get a good used/restored laptop for about the same amount you spend on a decent pedal- 250-300$.
@TriPedalReviews

You should just need a USB type A to C cable. The pedal comes with that cable. Another option would be an adapter. Cable would run around $10 if you had to buy it yourself (which you don't need to because it's supplied). An Adapter is around $5 to 6 dollars if you went that route.

SurfyVibe sounds good, but there is a slight volume drop on the phasey setting. This is primarily why the CTC is better. You can compensate, or boost volume. My top 3 favorite Magnatone style vibratos are Orgin Effects Magma 57, CTC Memphis and BTB Maggie. All of them are good though, including Magnavibe. Great work - as always! I’ve been on the fence for years either this box. It’s different, it does cool things, but is it more of a novelty in the end? Probably going to buy one eventually, though…

For Tremolo, there is a dedicated Tremolo block you need to engage. This also controls the Depth of the Trem, so set that there. In the LFO block, you'd set your shape and the speed of the LFO. Then in the control section in the editor you just set the switches/knobs to control whatever you want. The Haunted reverb patch just has reverb going on, then engages/disengages the tremolo block with the footswitch. That gives you the option of not having trem, or having trem along with the reverb.

@TriPedalReviews
@TriPedalReviews Ай бұрын
As mentioned in the video, all Monument versions have crap expression control functionality, they all suffer the same issue and they just never fix it, the range of speed available is too wide, and thus you can't really get a smooth sweep in a usable range (I've demod every version of this pedal and included testing out the expression control on all 3). As you say, its usually real slow then real fast. Harmonic trem is pretty good, but i still prefer others to it. Very similar to the V2 harmonic trem of this pedal, which I've done a bunch of shootouts with. This one is still in the middle for me. It's not great, it's not bad. I do like the ramping features and the stereo of this new version. Being able to mix standard & harmonic is also nice. But a similar pedal I'd choose over this is the Flower Pedals Sunflower Deluxe.
